"No one will get away with threatening or intimidating our great US Attorneys or the destruction of their offices," she wrote in a post on X, revealing Keith Michael Lisa had been apprehended.

Original Story

The FBI has identified Keith Michael Lisa, a 51-year-old man originally from California, as the suspect in the attack on U.S. Attorney Alina Habba’s office earlier this week.

The bureau announced that it was seeking more information on Lisa in an X post from its official "Most Wanted" account. They are also offering a reward for his arrest and capture.

They note that the suspect has ties to New York City, New York, and Mahwah, New Jersey, the latter of which is just over 40 minutes from Habba's office.

Lisa is described as about 6'3" tall and weighing somewhere between 200 and 230 lbs, and his actions have been spelled out a little more with this announcement.

"Keith Michael Lisa is wanted for allegedly entering the Peter W. Rodino Federal Building in Newark, New Jersey, on November 12, 2025, while in possession of a bat," the FBI's wanted poster reads. "After being denied entry, he discarded the bat and returned."

"Once inside the building, he proceeded to the U.S. Attorney's Office, where he damaged government property."

Lisa is wanted for "Possession of a Dangerous Weapon in a Federal Facility" and "Depredation of Federal Property," and authorities are offering a $25,000 reward for his arrest and conviction.

Further details on the attack have remained under wraps. Even with the latest information from the FBI, it remains unclear if Habba, appointed to her role by President Donald Trump, was at that location when Lisa tried getting in with a baseball bat.

There is also no indication as to what property was destroyed during the altercation.

Attorney General Pam Bondi earlier this week made it clear that the suspect's alleged intent was to confront Habba herself. She noted that the U.S. Attorney was doing well after the attack.

"Thankfully, Alina is ok," Bondi revealed. "Any violence or threats of violence against any federal officer will not be tolerated. Period. This is unfortunately becoming a trend as radicals continue to attack law enforcement agents around the country."

Habba posted to X shortly after the attack, stating, "I will not be intimidated by radical lunatics for doing my job."

The FBI warns that Lisa "should be considered dangerous."
