For this inaugural post in the NRCC’s Red State diary, NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek, Political Director Rob Simms, and National Press Secretary Daniel Scarpinato stopped by the studio this week to discuss the approaching special Congressional election in Florida’s 13th District.
Between her refusing to debate on MSNBC and her statement that jobs lost under ObamaCare is an “exciting prospect,” Democrat Alex Sink’s campaign has been one misstep after another. “Everyone assumed that this would be a walk in the park for her,” Rob Simms said. “Unfortunately for her, she’s had a very bad several weeks.”
Alex Sink would be another liberal vote in Washington to protect ObamaCare, and Democrats are spending millions of dollars trying to change the subject. Florida’s families cannot afford another Pelosi ally in Congress.
