Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his wife, Jeanette, recently appeared on Katie Miller's podcast.
He answered questions on a variety of topics and showed why some of the administration considers him to be one of the funniest guys on the team. He related the story of his dog, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth living nearby, and the Hegseth family cat — an "arrogant cat."
Marco Rubio: I never took @PeteHegseth for a cat guy.

One of Pete’s cats, oftentimes I’ll get home at night and the cat is just sitting on my porch, looking at me like, “What are you doing here?”
To be honest with you, it’s a very arrogant cat.

Rubio said people do believe that the government is covering something up on the subject of UFOs, that the issue isn't a conspiracy theory, but a legitimate concern. He joked about how he used to deflect from political questions when he was asked something in Congress by reporters by raising this issue. But he noted it was still a real issue.
However, Rubio said that the Trump team wasn't covering anything up. “If we knew, the president would be all over it. Like, there would be, you know, (a) prime-time address," Rubio asserted. "He’d be showing the pictures and the videos.”
President Donald Trump directed the Pentagon earlier this year to begin publicly releasing files on UFOs, or UAP (unidentified anomalous phenomena).
Rubio was very interested in getting to the bottom of the topic when he was in Congress. And he explained why it was vital to do so now.
SECRETARY RUBIO: I don't know who it is. I don't know what it is. But there are things flying over our military installations, and they're not ours, and we should look into this. pic.twitter.com/6PQ59X1OVT

“I don’t know who it is, I don’t know what it is, but there are things flying over our military installation, and they’re not ours, and we should look into this and be serious about it,” Rubio said.

That's a pretty definitive statement of a potential threat, or at the very least implies that our bases are exposed to an unknown probe of whatever kind. He's not necessarily talking about aliens; what he is saying is "not ours," so if these are from a foreign government, for example, that's also a big problem.
That absolutely needs to be determined to figure out what's going on and where they are coming from. It's concerning that they don't know, especially if it's an ongoing issue.

Secretary Rubio mentions in that interview that someone else is now the guy in charge of pursuing that question in the Trump administration. The reason he's sort of joking there with Katie Miller is that the guy is her husband, Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff. Miller is a bulldog, so if he's on it, hopefully that's a positive. We've seen how bullish he's been on immigration.
