Elon Musk has shown that he's not afraid to call out the left on some of their horrible policies.
One of the things he has been most concerned about is standing against radical ideologies and preserving the constitutional principles we have in the West.
During an interview with The Economist's editor-in-chief, Zanny Minton Beddoes, Beddoes tried to paint him as "far right," because of his criticism of how the government has approached things like immigration in the United Kingdom. Musk shot that characterization down, saying it was normal to want secure borders, safe cities, and sensible spending.
"If people are coming to a country with antithetical views, I am against that," he said.
"I'm against rape and murder, I'm against the imposition of rules and laws that are contrary to what we've come to accept in the West," he continued, criticising the media for not understanding or reflecting this.
Beddoes tried to attack Elon Musk over that, saying, "You don't even live there!" She asked if he understood how some people "loathe you."

"People loathe you!"
ELON: "I don't care. The fact that a quarter billion people follow me means a lot more people like me than don't."

Musk acknowledged it might be true that some people loathe him.
"Maybe some people do loathe me, and that's probably true. I don't care," he replied.
Elon didn't let it go, going even further, dropping her and the media in response.
"But the fact that, as you pointed out, a quarter of a billion people follow me, is that I think a lot more people actually like me than don't. And I think a lot more people hate you and the media, more than you realize."
Now that's a mic drop right there, for sure. I'm willing to bet that Beddoes has not faced such a blunt (but true) assessment of the media to her face like that before. I doubt she was expecting that. She should reflect on why it's true that so many people hate the media, but I wouldn't bet that she would.

Much of the alleged "news media" has long since given up what was supposed to be their job of reporting the facts to the people, in favor of pushing agenda "journalism." The media has earned all the loathing they get, and we're all in with Elon on despising the liberal media.
Meanwhile, Musk is probably one of the most accomplished men in the world who has brought so much to it, with his work on SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). He put everything on the line for freer speech by buying X, then getting targeted by the Left for doing so. That's one of the reasons many have great admiration for him.
Elon has brought incredible things to the world. The liberal media, not so much.
