We've written a lot about all the vile character-related reasons that one shouldn't vote for Democrat Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner. Plus, frankly, how Democrats are going over the slide and showing they have no principles, and all they care about is power when they embrace him.
Yet another ex-girlfriend, in addition to Lyndsey Fifield, has emerged over the past day, saying Platner knew what the Nazi Totenkopf tattoo was, long before he said he found out. Platner dismissed Fifield, who also alleged abusive behavior by Platner, as a "political" attack. But this new ex-girlfriend is reportedly a leftist streamer.
According to this new report, the streamer says that Platner kept the tattoo because it was a statement on the U.S. being the "evil bad guy overseas." Gee, sounds like a perfectly rational comment from a candidate for the Senate in the U.S. Not.
Oh, and she also said that he tarnished her reputation by using her to step out on his fiancée.
On top of all that, if you actually listen to what he says about policies or what he would like to do, he sounds like a fascist. My colleague Ben Smith touched on a tweet earlier in his story about Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire when SpaceX went public on Friday.
Elon Musk just became the world’s first trillionaire.

Let’s make sure he’s also the last.

Elon Musk Becomes the First Trillionaire in Human History — and the Left Immediately Lost Its Mind
"Elon Musk just became the world’s first trillionaire," Platner said. "Let’s make sure he’s also the last."
Let's think about that for a moment. He wants there to be no more trillionaires. Why?
Elon Musk has contributed greatly to the advancement of space exploration with SpaceX. He also employs thousands of people across his multiple companies with good, productive jobs. Why would you not only want him, but want a lot more of him, to do the same thing? That would be good for the world.
Not only is it good for Musk, his employees, and everyone who benefits from what they produce, but it's also a sign that America works. It's a sign of the possibilities of what can be achieved and what this country has to offer to make your way. That's a good thing to remember as we celebrate our 250th birthday, that we offer so much as a nation. We should want as many people as possible to have that success.
But in the mind of the radical leftist, this is evil. How dare a trillionaire exist?! If he exists, he must be stealing/oppressing the poorer people. This is a feature of this kind of thought. They talk about the right, but it's the left pushing constant class grievance and the "evil oligarchs."
Then, too, how does Platner propose that we "make sure he is the last"? What does he propose we do to stop trillionaires? Seize their money? Make them leave the country? Can we talk about that tattoo again? The Nazis tried to appeal to the working class, saying things were bad because they'd been betrayed by the rich "Jews."
Platner also made another comment about billionaires at a recent town hall in Portland, Maine.
Graham Platner: “If I had my way, elections would last two months, they would be publicly funded, and if a billionaire looked at a TV ad the wrong way we’d put ‘em in jail.” pic.twitter.com/rwyrOoYq47

“If I had my way, elections would last two months, they would be publicly funded, and if a billionaire looked at a TV ad the wrong way, we’d put ‘em in jail," Platner ranted.
So he would lock up a billionaire because he "looked at a TV ad the wrong way." And that's not fascist or anything, either, right? That's actually some scary stuff there. If you are rich, if we don't like your "look," you're going to jail. It's scarier, too, because he did get some applause for that, and a lot of the folks on the left don't see a problem with this. Indeed, some responded to the RNC Research clip, saying it made him look better in their eyes. More reason we have to ensure these folks never get back into power. As frustrated as we may get at times with our side, these characters espouse thoughts that are truly dangerous.
Saying “I would jail anyone I dislike who might get in the way of my side acquiring power” isn’t really the best way to convince people that you aren’t a, well, you know. https://t.co/z5NKzYC7qz
