Report: The Graham Platner 'Redemption' Tour Hits a Snag As Another Alleged Ex Spills the Tea

On Tuesday, Graham Platner officially became the Democrat Senate nominee for Maine, easily besting two other candidates, including Gov. Janet Mills, the Schumer-backed Democrat who had suspended her campaign in late April but who reminded voters during the Platner sexting revelations that she was still on the primary ballot - and that the votes would count.

Platner has faced one self-inflicted scandal after another for nearly the entirety of his campaign so far, including news of a Nazi tattoo he's had on his chest for many years. The most troubling news about Platner, however, involves serious allegations of physical abuse and obsessively controlling behavior from an ex-girlfriend named Lyndsey Fifield.

Because of all of that, he and his staunchest allies, including Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), kicked off his general election campaign by leaning harder on the story of the supposed "redemption" of a changed man whose alleged post-Iraq war PTSD and over-reliance on alcohol during his darker days caused him to say and do bad things that he claims he regrets.

Another allegation Fifield made was that Platner indeed knew exactly what the Nazi tattoo symbolized, something she wrote in a private group chat to friends in August 2025, well before the story broke and caused headaches for Platner. She told the Times that Platner referred to it as “my Totenkopf.”

Platner and his campaign have sought to discredit Fifield as a right-wing operative, and he "strongly disputed" Fifield's recollection of what was said about the tattoo, per the Times.

But in a new wrinkle for the Platner campaign, another alleged ex has stepped forward to also suggest he knew the meaning of the tattoo, and this one won't be so easy to dismiss as a vengeful political operative:

Maine Senate nominee Graham Platner kept his hideous Nazi tattoo to remind himself “the US was the evil bad guy overseas,” according to an ex-girlfriend with whom he cheated on his fiancée in 2021.

The left-wing streamer, who spoke to The Post, is the second woman to say that Platner knew about the fascist origin of his Totenkopf skull and crossbones tattoo — despite his claims that he didn’t realize it was a Third Reich symbol until last fall.

Her assertions were backed up by texts reviewed by The Post that she’d sent to her mom in September 2025 in which she blasted him for his “Nazi tattoo,” “small d—k” and claims that he tarnished her reputation by using her to step out on his fiancée.

The pair started talking in February 2021 and dated until mid-July 2021, she said.

The Post confirmed that the woman had multiple posts on social media alluding to a dalliance with “Graham” during that time period.

The woman spoke to the Post on the condition of anonymity and said he never physically abused her, but as noted above, they reviewed her social media posts from the timeframe she says she dated him, as well as the texts she sent her mom and friends, and confirmed she was legit.

Here are some of the texts, some of which were sent to friends in 2021, that mentioned "Graham" and some that were sent in August and September of 2025 about the Nazi tattoo (language warning):

Though the X user doesn't have any texts of her time with Platner, she shared a formal statement on the social media platform, alleging that she confirmed it was a Nazi tattoo directly with him after they had been "intimate":

Judging by the results of the primary, it is clear that a majority of the Democrats who voted wouldn't care if it were discovered that Platner kicked puppies, crushed butterflies with his bare hand, and stole old ladies' purses, much less be a Nazi sympathizer and allegedly emotionally and physically abusive towards a woman, as long as he gave the Democrats control of the United States Senate.

But unfortunately for Platner, he also needs independent voters to vote for him if he is going to defeat Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), and he is going to find them to be a tougher sell than whatever Democrat holdouts are left for him to try and win over. Plus, the NRSC hasn't even started dumping their oppo, which is said to be so bad that Platner might be better off moving out of the state.

I am eagerly looking forward to that, because so far, he has looked like the Teflon candidate. But there is a chink in that armor somewhere, and from the sounds of it, the NRSC is waiting for the perfect time to expose it. Stay tuned.
