I think it's fair to say that Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has led an interesting life.
As a former Democrat, from a family with a long Democratic and colorful history, he was a unique addition to the Trump Cabinet, added because of his passion for improving people's health and his contingent of Make America Healthy Again supporters. At 72 years old, he appears to be a walking testimonial to being in good physical health now, after having led a wilder life when he was young. He's been a big advocate for kids' physical and mental health, which has made him a champion to a lot of moms.

Kennedy is also apparently a pretty fearless character when it comes to dealing with wildlife. He posted about being with his wife, Cheryl Hines, at the home of the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Dr. Mehmet Oz. But then he went over to deal with two unexpected guests who were on the patio.

"Cheryl cheerleads the removal of a pair of Black Racers from Dr Oz's patio," RFK Jr. posted.
That's one way of putting it. I think he was teasing with that because obviously, his wife wasn't exactly cheerleading. Indeed, she was worried and kept insisting that he let them go, especially after one of them appeared to bite him in the hand.
"Honey, honey. Let them go," Hines said, clearly concerned, as any wife might be.
Kennedy joked about the snakes being "moccasins," which are dangerous, before saying that the snakes were not moccasins. Kennedy identified them in the post as "black racers," which are common in the South and not venomous. But they can bite, as we can see there.
Kennedy spent a lot of time with wildlife when he was younger. He appears to have a proclivity for such things.

He also caught and relocated a rattlesnake he found in his driveway in July 2024 and posted a video about it.

People generally thought Kennedy's snake wrangling was either beast mode or a bit crazy, but it seemed beast mode mostly won out. People also joked that he'd "caught lunch."
I would 100% watch a crocodile Hunter style show with him in it https://t.co/Tsj6YutX3E
