Dr. Jeffrey Epstein Has Perfect Response to This Dem's Misleading Use of His Donation to Zeldin

The Democrats continue to embarrass themselves over the Jeffrey Epstein matter.

I reported on Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett's (TX-30) shameless efforts to link Republicans to Epstein donations to deflect from the fact that the convicted sex offender donated to Democrat Delegate Stacey Plaskett, the non-voting delegate from the Virgin Islands.

But Crockett didn't bother to check the information she threw out on the House floor, and was referencing donations from other people whose names were Jeffrey Epstein, not the sex offender. Then she tried to justify that, saying her team didn't have time to check the information.

Jasmine Crockett makes an absolute fool of herself when she is asked to correct the record about accusing Republicans of taking donations from a different Dr. Jeffrey Epstein:

What she did, dragging those other folks into this, without caring about accuracy, was just shameful.

Now, one of those people who didn't have anything to do with any of this is speaking out, and he's floating the perfect revenge for Crockett's craziness.

Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, the Long Island neurosurgeon who donated to Lee Zeldin, suggested a humorous idea to the New York Post.

“I think that I should contribute money to Jasmine Crockett and then let everybody know that she also took money from Jeffrey Epstein,” Dr. Epstein said.

Oh, my, how perfect is that? She wants to play games with people's names. That would serve her up some of her own medicine, and it wouldn't have to be much money at all. Good on Dr. Epstein for coming up with such a great response.

She certainly deserved every rebuke for what she did. She never should have dragged his name or the names of the other people into it. It should have been obvious from the dates, since the donations from Dr. Epstein were in April and August 2020, months after Epstein, the financier, had died in jail.

Dr. Epstein was asked by the Post if he'd ever faced confusion over his name in the past. “Until she said something, it was never an issue,” he said.

Now, if I were the Democratic leader, I would have talked with Crockett about stopping such stupidity. It's contributing to making the Democrats look even more ridiculous, and that's saying something.

But the Democratic leader is House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8), who made his own ridiculous defense of Plaskett, and whose team had reached out to Epstein, the financier, for a donation.

At this point, Democrats who thought they could smear President Donald Trump have only succeeded in making themselves look worse.
