The Democrats thought pushing for the release of Epstein information was going to hurt President Donald Trump.
But not only is it not going as they planned, it's blowing back on them, as it's revealing a lot of Epstein connections to Democrats. Epstein was a big donor to Democrats, among them, Democrat Delegate Stacey Plaskett (VI), a non-voting member of the House. Epstein was also texting her in February 2019 during a Congressional hearing to help her against Trump.
Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) came to Plaskett's defense on Wednesday on the House floor, arguing that Republicans had received donations from "somebody" by the name of Jeffrey Epstein. She listed off names, including Lee Zeldin, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency.
“I just want to be clear: If this is the standard that we gonna make, just know we are gonna expose it all. And just know that the FEC filings, they are available for everyone to review. This is absolutely ridiculous.”
Except that, as we reported, there was a small problem with this claim. The donations were not from the notorious Jeffrey Epstein. They included donations from a doctor with the same name in New York in 2020, after the Jeffrey Epstein in question had died in 2019.

Crockett Takes Her Pathological Antics to Another Level in Epstein Floor Speech
Crockett didn't respond when the NY Post asked her for comment on her idiocy. The Post said they didn't find any donations to Zeldin from the notorious Epstein.
But Zeldin wasn't taking this nonsense lying down; he went scorched earth on Crockett for such a slimy effort.

He said the donation was from a physician named Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, "who is a totally different person than the other Jeffrey Epstein...NO FREAKIN RELATION YOU GENIUS!!!"
He's righteously aggrieved. How bad are you at basic reading if you can't see there's a problem with the claim when some of the donations are after the Epstein in question was dead? It means you don't give a darn about the truth or verifying facts. It's only about deflecting from Democrats and trying to drag in Republicans.
Crockett is considering a run for the Senate. She says she's going to make her decision by Thanksgiving, but she isn't going to announce her decision until the filing deadline on Dec. 8, after checking polling that she's commissioned. She has an overinflated opinion of herself. I don't think she has any chance at all; I think the folks in Texas have more sense.
