I reported earlier how Kamala Harris had dropped more of a hint about a future run than she had in the past.
It was met with a hilarious response from the BBC interviewer, when she told Harris what her reported betting odds were. When she gets responses like that, people are not taking her chances very seriously.
Now, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) has weighed in during an interview with Adam Carolla. Carolla asked him about Kamala's claim that people said she was the "most qualified candidate ever to run for president." "I'm just speaking fact," Harris claimed.
Some deluded people, like her former running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, may have said it. But that doesn't make it true. But imagine the self-delusion, with the achievements of all the presidents in history, that she thinks she can even say this. Not to mention that "qualifications" don't necessarily translate to "ability" either.
Kennedy's response was vintage Kennedy.

Kennedy stated they had served in the Senate together, where she was "very scripted." Then he noted what the polling was before she took Biden's place in the 2024 race. According to Kennedy, the polls showed that most Americans looked at Harris and "thought to themselves, when her IQ gets to 75, she oughta sell." He said he pointed out the polling at the time, and the "legacy media beat up on me like I stole Christmas." He was destroying their illusions about her.
"I don't think she expected to be running for president," Kennedy said. But he thought the Democrats also didn't expect Joe Biden to have a "major league, goat rodeo meltdown in his first and only debate," and "so it was thrust upon her."
Harris did pressure Biden to endorse her immediately after he dropped out, so she put herself in that position. All the subsequent embarrassment was on her because she truly wasn't capable during the campaign. She didn't know how to answer the questions, and she had no record of success in the Biden administration. She was assigned to help fix the border, but it got worse under Biden-Harris.
Even Hunter Biden recently admitted Harris was picked because she was black. He did hastily add that she had an "incredible resume," was "perfectly capable," and he "would have voted for her." Did he not vote for her?

Kennedy nails Harris' problem.
However, the larger problem for the Democrats is that most of their other 2028 choices have issues as well. So with bad candidates and bad policy, they're not in a good place. They have a lot of soul-searching to do, but, instead, they're still fully focused on attacking Trump as their only play.
