The 'No Kings' Protests Are Exposed by a Few Simple Facts

Democratic politicians were all in for the "No Kings" protests on Saturday. You had them going out to join in and even encouraging others to go to them, too.

They claimed it was about "saving democracy" and President Donald Trump acting like a "king."

Of course, there was a fundamental problem with that, as leftist Trump supporter journalist Batya Ungar-Sargon observed.

White boomers have the right to have a mass therapy session about the fact that Donald Trump won, but to call it a No Kings protest, to act like he is a king, is so utterly preposterous. This is a man who won the popular vote. He won every swing state. He is a person who is enacting the exact agenda he promised he was going to enact while he was campaigning. And so what they are actually protesting is the absolute perfection of American democracy....So it's actually a protest of democracy.

Ungar-Sargon said Trump didn't stop it "because he's not a king," but noted the Trump team understandably made fun of such a ridiculous exercise.

Bingo, that really gets to the heart of the problem here. We are not a pure democracy; we are a constitutional republic. But Trump was the democratic choice of the people. He not only won in the electoral college, but he also won the popular vote and every swing state. Even The NY Times noted that more than 89 percent of the counties in the country shifted in favor of Trump in the 2024 election.

Trump is giving the people what they have wanted for so long: putting our interests first and doing things like securing the border and addressing crime. His actions regarding the border showed we didn't need new laws - all we needed was a different person sitting in the Oval Office. When have we ever had someone so proactive, addressing these important issues? Republicans have gained by over a million registrations versus the Democrats since November. I think people regard Trump and Republicans as the party of action on the issues they care about.

The left is actually mad that Trump is succeeding with the agenda on which he ran. They're mad he's deporting people and doing what he said he would do - and what people voted for. How can the left be "saving democracy" when they're arrayed against the democratically elected candidate, wanting to remove him?

It isn't about democracy. As with anything to do with the far left, it's about driving the country further left, whatever the cause. The cause doesn't matter, whether it's Trump, BLM, or Occupy. The Democratic politicians are embracing that.

When Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was encouraging people to get out to the protest, he left out that the Communist Party was involved in backing the demonstrations. He left out the attempt to normalize Antifa, that they would be marching as well, carrying their black and red flag banner, black for anarchy and red for Communism. So that's who the Democrats were marching with.

So how is any of that about "democracy"? And it surely isn't supportive of our constitutional republic. But what can one expect from a party that installed Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for president without one vote for the top slot?

Trump is the one acting on the agenda of the people.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
