I reported earlier on Jimmy Kimmel's non-apology emotional statement.
He was very emotional and said he didn't intend to blame any group in his comment. Yet he did, whether he admits it or not. Then, even in these new comments, he refused to acknowledge what the authorities have said is the leftist politics of the alleged killer. Jimmy Kimmel made it about him, alleging suppression by the government.

But most weren't buying what he was trying to sell. One of the best responses was from Piers Morgan.
Yet that is exactly what he did. https://t.co/TKPjsp7UBs

Hard to feel sympathy for Jimmy Kimmel and his crocodile tears given how gleefully he has always gorged on the career entrails of conservative stars who lost their jobs like Tucker, Roseanne etc.

He’s become a partisan political activist, not a comedic host.
Those cancellations were all fine to Kimmel, because it's about politics and the other side, not the principle.
Morgan noted how the media is all over the Kimmel story but not so much over the Google suppression story, a real story of suppressing speech. Good for him for highlighting this.
Oh, and while I’m at it, why is this shocking story that dropped yesterday not getting the same attention as Kimmel’s 48-hour suspension? It’s far more egregious but the U.S. mainstream media doesn’t seem to care. Why?

CNBC's Joe Kernen saw that too.
B-b-but, Jimmy Kimmel! https://t.co/2zq3iZKRgA

We've faced actual suppression. Kimmel's vacation wasn't a suppression by the government.
Where is the left to call out this suppression by the Biden regime? Strangely silent.
Megyn Kelly didn't have any sympathy either.
Remember when I was cancelled & held back tears on the air & Kimmel stood up for me saying “All she did was ask a Q about blackface Halloween costumes, whereas I, Jimmy, have actually worn blackface many times & still have a show! This is wrong!”

Me neither. F him & his self pity
Actor and comedian Rob Schneider noted that Kimmel falsely tried to link the killing to MAGA and failed to note the alleged leftist politics or appreciate the problem of the dangerous rhetoric.
Dear Jimmy Kimmel,

In your semi-apology tonight,
you LIED AGAIN.
You were not making “light” of Mr. Kirk’s death.
The suspension you justly received last week was for FALSELY ACCUSING,
MAGA and Republicans “one of their own” you said, for the murder of our friend Charlie Kirk…
CNN commentator and Salem radio host Scott Jennings pointed out how this misled the public.
You used the phrase “MAGA gang” & then lied about what happened. You definitely intended to make light of it and mislead the American people. Pathetic. https://t.co/lxVbyCNVUp

This failure/misleading comments from the media may explain why many on the left thought the killer was on the right.
