Oh My: Ted Cruz Ends Cory Booker With Epic Reply in Hearing About SCOTUS Protests

Few people can go head-to-head with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in a congressional battle.

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is not one of those people, as he showed on Tuesday.

Booker and Cruz got into a heated battle regarding protests at the homes of Supreme Court Justices. Cruz asked Booker a very simple question: Should the Biden Justice Department have enforced the criminal law against protesting at the homes of Supreme Court justices? Booker's scramble to avoid the simple "yes or no" question was something else, as he tried talking about everything else but the question.

Booker rambled, trying to accuse Cruz of hypocrisy, while not answering the question. Booker claimed that President Donald Trump should, for some reason, apologize, although what Trump had to do with radical leftist actions against SCOTUS doesn't make a lot of sense. But that was Booker, trying some desperate deflection.

Cruz was having none of it. He delivered an epic reply.

"So let the record reflect that Spartacus did not answer the question, and did not tell us whether the criminal law should be enforced, because he knows the answer is yes. And he knows that the Biden Department of Justice was being wildly political and partisan in refusing to enforce the law because they disagreed with the Supreme Court Justices' rulings."

Oh my, is that perfect? Ted Cruz has delivered a lot of great responses, but that one might zoom to the top. That just left Booker in the dust.

Booker is bad, but there is no good answer for him because what Cruz said is patently true. Not only didn't the Biden team and Democrats care, but they hoped that the pressure would influence the justices to change their rulings. So it was a disgraceful move on their part. Let's recall this from then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) saying women need to apply pressure to change what the Supreme Court Decision could be.

That was some of the madness that the Biden team allowed to foment and refused to address properly.

Then you had a man who was arrested near Justice Brett Kavanaugh's home for allegedly wanting to assassinate him. When the left whips people up on an issue, it can have some harmful results.

If you cut it off at the pass, at least you send a signal, which I think was Cruz's point. But the Biden team let it brew, largely without consequences, because they didn't like the justices' rulings. That's incredibly vile and wrong.

That's why "Spartacus" couldn't answer the question.
