Obama Bros Raise Big Warning With New Data Showing Dems in 'Deep Trouble'

The former Obama aides, the Obama "bros" - Jon Favreau and Dan Pfeiffer - are raising the alarm about how bad new data on the last election was for the Democrats.

On Friday, as our sister site Townhall reported, Favreau and Pfeiffer discussed the new Catalist data on "Pod Save America." Favreau bemoaned that the numbers were "unsurprising as they were depressing" (for Democrats).

"Kamala Harris lost critical ground with young voters and people of color, especially men of color — especially young men of color." The only group she gained ground with was "married white women" -- and only by one point.

She "lost a lot of ground among the irregular voters," Favreau observed.

He cites the Cook Political Report, "The Obama Coalition Turned Into the Trump Coalition." "Ouch," he concluded.

Here's some of the Catalist data. If you look at the swing of Hispanic men since 2012, it's stunning.

An R+30 swing in 12 years, with much of that being in the last four years.

I think that's big evidence that people weren't buying the Democrats' "Trump is Hitler and hates minorities" sideshow. But that's their only tactic for the past ten years or so: fear, fear, fear the fascist. It's failed, badly. But it's left them with nothing else; they don't know how to do anything else, including how to govern. On top of that they showed how they couldn't be trusted when it came to Joe Biden and they put up a horrible candidate in Kamala Harris.

They're flailing around now, trying to figure out what to do. But so far, all they seem to be doing is continuing down the same path/embracing their leftist branch. Neither take is going to help them win in the future.

Pfeiffer explains the gains that Trump made with the younger people of color coming into the electorate, "and if that continues, we're in deep trouble."

Pfeiffer warned they were on the "wrong side of political history right now," because they were losing ground with the young/Latinos, that they were the ones who have to hope people don't turn out now. He explained that now they look like the Democratic Party from the '60s to the '90s, which is to say the party that lost a lot. Pfeiffer said there had to be a radical change in approach.

I don't think they can free themselves from the radical left, and if they can't, there is no other way but straight down.
