Schumer's Take on Biden in Tapper Book Is 'Psychotic' - His Reaction Now Is Even Worse

We've been covering news from the release of CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson's new book about Joe Biden, "Original Sin."

Among the shockers: His team was thinking about putting him in a wheelchair because of his condition, but they knew they couldn't do that when he was running before the election. His family and the handlers pushed forward with him running again, despite seeing the signs of his mental and physical decline, according to the book.

Biden also couldn't even recognize George Clooney at the infamous fundraiser that Clooney helped throw for him.

There was another stunning section about Biden's interaction with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

Biden would call him and then say he forgot why he called. "Sometimes he rambled. Sometimes he forgot names. Schumer wasn't worried about Biden's acuity, but he was worried about the optics."

I think journalist John Podhoretz accurately describes that as "psychotic." Schumer isn't concerned about Biden's issues; he's just worried about what it might look like. How crazy is that? And yes, then again, that means he knew, no matter what he has said about it in the past.

Schumer claimed in 2024 that Biden's "mental acuity is great" and that "right-wing propaganda" was wrong.

NBC Calls Out Chuck Schumer for Lying to Country About Biden's Decline. His Response Is Classic.

When he was asked now what he knew, if he was being straight with the American public when he said in June 2024 that Biden was "impressive," he said, "We're just looking forward."

CNN's Kasie Hunt also asked Schumer about his prior comments at about 4:20 in this clip.

"We're looking forward," Schumer says, trying to deflect by lying about a Medicaid cut.

Hunt says they're facing that because they lost. She doesn't call it out as false.

"We're looking forward," he says again.

"That's it?" she asks

"That's it," he smirked.

Even she couldn't believe it.

Translation? We don't even owe you an explanation or apology for what we did. And he smiles, like the vile character that he is.

These people should never win another election, ever. They all need to resign.
