It doesn't make a lot of sense. 

You would think it would be obvious to Democrats that tying themselves to an illegal alien alleged MS-13 member who was accused by his wife of beating her wouldn't be a good idea. 

But some of them were clamoring to do it and are doing all they can to publicize their virtue signaling. We saw first Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) do it and embarrass himself. Now, four more Democrats are in El Salvador, too. They're so focused on attacking President Donald Trump over the issue that they don't realize how much they're shooting themselves in the foot.

But now, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) has another take that shows just how much Democrats are losing their minds over this issue. 

According to Klobuchar, the reason for all the attention to the Abrego Garcia case is because President Donald Trump wants the attention to it, to "distract from the economy." The hot take starts around 1:24 in the clip. This is bizarre.

Wait, isn't it the Democrats who have been putting all the focus on Abrego Garcia? 

This is so wild. So, even the focus in this is somehow "Trump's fault." Trump is so powerful that he made them focus on this case rather than on the economy. 

Of course, she's off the rails on the economy as well, since Trump has inflation at its lowest in years, and he's brought down costs that Joe Biden had driven up, like gas and eggs. They're the ones who harmed the economy. 

If what she's saying is true, then why aren't the Democrats focusing on the economy? They seem to be doing a great job of helping Trump, then. It's an issue they don't seem to want to let go of, no matter how much it hurts them. 

They are just completely losing their minds, and they don't even know what to say at this point. 

George Washington Law School professor Jonathan Turley was one of the ones who raised an eyebrow at that one and mocked it.
