Things did not go well for protesters at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's town hall in suburban Atlanta on Tuesday.
The Georgia Republican posted a video of one of the encounters and she praised the response of the "GREAT police officers" who were "keeping the peace." You can see one guy making a move on a cop that wasn't going to end well for him.
Warning for graphic language:
For anyone questioning or criticizing the police at my townhall last night, the GREAT police officers conducted themselves in textbook fashion and protected every single person there by keeping the peace!!!!!

These protestors were deranged and aggressive and lost control of… pic.twitter.com/O1z1AaK6gj
It started right at the beginning of the event and the police were not playing around with this. They repeatedly warned the protesters not to resist, saying "Stop" or "Don't do it." People cheered as the protesters were taken out. But you can see one gets tased when he doesn't appear to pay attention to the admonition.
We’re off to an insanely tense start at the @RepMTG town hall in Cobb County. Three people have been removed and one of them was tased after scuffling with police.

Greene reminded everyone it was a town hall and not a political rally. pic.twitter.com/k1fNxP7xim
Most of the audience was supportive of Greene. People chanted, "U.S.A!" as other people were escorted out, including this man who yelled, "Free Kilmar!" MTG recognized the reference to Kilmar Ábrego García, the illegal alien who was deported to El Salvador.
At the end of my townhall, one terribly confused and brainwashed Democrat attendee left chanting “free Kilmar” as he wrongfully defended an MS-13 gang member, Kilmar Garcia, who has been deported to his home country El Salvador.

She said Democrats were supporting illegal aliens.

Greene thanked another lady who swore at her and said, "Be safe going home!" as the woman was escorted out.
Six people were removed during the event, two were tased, and three were arrested.
The Acworth Police Department said there was a "deliberate attempt to disrupt the event" and that their "officers were threatened, physically resisted, and harmed in the process" of trying to remove the protesters. Two of the people were arrested on suspicion of simple battery on a law enforcement officer and obstruction.
It is disappointing that a very small number of people actively worked to create a temporary disruption to what was otherwise a completely peaceful event.
"The City of Acworth will always do two things. One, we will stand behind the men and women that wear the uniform. Second, we will support elected representatives of any and all parties hosting events at our facilities. The purpose of this town hall was for Congresswoman Greene to communicate to her constituents, not to place others in danger."
