Michelle Obama has just launched a podcast -- with another person.
Not Barack, but her brother, Craig Robinson.
It's called "IMO," which means "In My Opinion."
If you want to be bored out of your skull listening to Michelle talk to her brother, be my guest. But it looks like right now, not many people are interested, despite the heavy marketing from media.

As of this writing, she only has about 18,000 subscribers to the YouTube channel.
I think that's a pretty big sign right there that after eight years, not many people are interested.
Some of those "views" are probably also media reporting on the show, too. Indeed, virtually all of the comments on the videos that I saw were people saying they didn't come to watch the video, they just came to read the comments/say something negative about Michelle. Some may also be wondering about rumors concerning a split with her husband.
Fox's Jesse Watters termed it a "flop" and ran clips from the show, including how she grouses about Barack being on "island time." It almost makes me feel sorry for him. Almost. You know she has to be a difficult person to live with. Although I suspect he's also tough to deal with. She also didn't seem to think much of the turkey pardoning tradition at the White House.
Michelle is SPILLING the family secrets. @MichelleObama is telling America how Barry gets on her nerves, how he doesn’t get people, and it turns out Michelle wasn’t the only one who had problems with @BarackObama when he was in office… pic.twitter.com/ZwmVpkcSPF

Michelle revealed she didn't want Barack to run for president, but Craig convinced her. Bad move for everyone -- especially the country.
Watters joked she's doing it to set up a run for president like Newsom. I don't think so; I think it's about setting herself up apart from her husband, to do the "podcaster thing." But if she has no viewers and frankly isn't interesting, she's not exactly going to be the next Joe Rogan. Just listening to her talk is a little like nails on a chalkboard (oh, and she has those too -- really long nails).
They say they are close because they even shared a bedroom growing up until Craig went to high school. It's odd that he seems to have to remind her about the situation and explain the setup of the house.
Michelle Obama reminds her brother they were “physically close growing up.”

She's still complaining about how tough it was to be in the White House -- who wants to hear it now? We didn't think that was good eight years ago. She is going to interview people but it isn't going to be focused on current affairs. Then why would anyone watch it? A podcaster has to have some appealing element and to be honest, I can't see any with her. She just comes across as angry and preachy. That's not attractive. Podcasts thrive when the hosts are relatable.
I don't think this is going to last long.
