Presidential Envoy for Special Missions, Ric Grenell had some great news on Friday about his special mission to Venezuela. As we reported, he went to talk about Venezuela repatriating its citizens who had illegally entered the United States, including Tren de Aragua gang members.
He carried a message that Venezuela needs to comply; otherwise, there will be "consequences."
He then returned to the U.S. with six American hostages, who had been detained in Venezuela. That's what strength gets you.
I have a question. Did you even know that there were Americans being held in Venezuela? How about Belarus, where Secretary of State Marco Rubio just got American released? For some reason, we weren't hearing about either situation from the Biden administration or the media--until the Trump team has come in and, suddenly, are getting people out.

God bless these Americans. pic.twitter.com/L36mNkvEom
Grenell has something to say about that question I had. On Saturday, he wrote a post on his X account, chastising the media for not reporting on the situation--and the Biden team for their inaction.
It is not lost on me that most of the DC media failed to tell the truth about their partnership with the Biden Regime.

The diplomatic standard is a wellness check, at least. These 6 Americans had ZERO help from Joe Biden, Anthony Blinken or Jake Sullivan.
Zero.
Donald Trump freed them on Day 11.
How many Americans did Biden leave in detention around the world?
That wasn't all. Grenell and Trump also announced on Saturday that Venezuela has agreed to repatriate their citizens after the mission, including paying for the return flights. That is a huge win.
We can now announce more great news from our Venezuela diplomatic mission yesterday:

Venezuela has agreed to take back all the illegal immigrants in the U.S. from Venezuela - and pay for it! Thanks to @realDonaldTrump! pic.twitter.com/e9LJnw22TF
A former Biden official, who served under both Obama and Biden in the State Department and the Department of Defense, said it was "inconceivable" that the Trump team managed to pull this off.
It's inconceivable that Maduro didn't give something for the hostages and for agreeing to take deportees. A visit by Grenell wouldn't be enough.

Grenell came back in a reply, with the smackdown.
Of course it’s inconceivable for someone from the Biden team…

They made chaos around the world because they didn’t show up or lead. There isn’t a region of the world that was safer after 4 years of Joe Biden’s Administration. https://t.co/ly16yWs1Dn

Now, that's a comeback.
Strength and "consequences" are powerful motivators.
