President-elect Donald Trump isn't even in office again yet. But he already has been putting pressure on Mexico and Canada to straighten up and fly right with his tariff threats.
He had Prime Minister Justin Trudeau flying down to Mar-a-Lago to figuratively "kiss the ring" and talk about it. He also humorously trolled Trudeau over it, joking about him being the "governor" of the "great state of Canada."
Trudeau is already going to be in a tight fight to hold onto power in the 2025 elections, and even Time is referring to him as the "increasingly unpopular Prime Minister," with some members of his own Liberal Party even wanting to throw him under the bus and replace him, and the voters favoring Conservatives on many of the kitchen table issues.

Now, it sounds like Trudeau is feeling the pressure from Trump. He just made remarks scolding the U.S. about "women's rights" that could be viewed as an attempt to take a shot at Trump. But it's such a ridiculous shot that it's almost funny. Listen as he explains how he scolds us for being against women's rights because we didn't vote for Kamala Harris:
Justin Trudeau is mad the US didn’t elect a woman and declares he’s a “proud feminist”

Now it shouldn't be that way. It wasn't supposed to be that way. We were supposed to be on a steady, if difficult sometimes, march towards progress. And yet, just a few weeks ago, the United States voted for a second time to not elect its first woman president. Everywhere, women's rights and women's progress is under attack overtly and subtly.
But I want you to know that I am and always will be a proud feminist. You will always have an ally in me and my government.
So now we should just vote based on gender? The reason we didn't vote for Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris was because we were evil women haters, attacking "women's progress," according to him. Not because both of them were horrible candidates with bad policies.
But that's the left in a nutshell -- it's all about the identity politics with them. The quality, the ideas -- none of that matters. The fact that Kamala Harris was part of a failed, leftist administration isn't supposed to be considered, I suppose.
So if we take Trudeau at his word, why isn't he stepping down in favor of a woman leader? Does he not care about women's rights? He's not exactly standing up for his leftist principles. Maybe he should be more concerned about how he's screwed up his own country and not about trying to tell us how to vote.
Imagine having to deal with this character as your prime minister, with this kind of preachy, silly attitude. This kind of identity politics was rejected here in our election. It may be about to be rejected in Trudeau's election as well. He just seems to be digging himself a bigger hole with comments like this.
What an embarrassing weenie… https://t.co/kLkWo3TFrv
