Sen. Kennedy Delivers Epic Thanksgiving Message to Trump Supporters and Hollywood Types Who Insult Them

Some in Hollywood have lost their minds in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump winning the election on Nov. 5.

Some, like Alec Baldwin and Sharon Stone, took to attacking Americans who voted for Trump. Not only did they attack us, but they did it while abroad. They were both in Italy for the Torino Film Festival.

Stone said Italy had seen "fascism" and that America as a country was in our "ignorant, arrogant adolescence."

We haven't seen fascism, she says. We fought fascism in WWII. To suggest that Trump is fascist is ignorant.

She said Americans didn't travel, 80 percent don't have passports, were "uneducated," were in their "extraordinary naivete."

Then she went to spew about "bad men," and I'm not even sure what she was talking about there.

Alec Baldwin also spouted off, saying Americans were "really uninformed about reality" about the most important issues like "climate change, Ukraine."

He said that "vacuum" was filled by the film industry. Imagine how uninformed you have to be to think that climate change and Ukraine are the most important issues.

Sean Hannity asked Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) what he thought about this, and true to form, Kennedy delivered an epic Thanksgiving message for Trump supporters and the Hollywood types who insulted them.

Here’s what I think. I think these people are goofy. They have the right to their opinion, but they’re just goofy. They hate George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln and Dr. Seuss and Mr. Potato Head.

They think our kids ought to be able to change genders at recess. They carry around Ziploc bags of kale to give themselves energy. To me—to each his own. To me, kale tastes like I’d rather be fat.

Now, these people are entitled to their opinion, but they have an unwarranted sense of moral and intellectual superiority. They think they’re smarter and more virtuous than the American people. And they think we’re not real people. But we were, and we are real people,

And in this last election, we got real mad, and we sent a message, clearly, unequivocally. And my message to all my friends and my enemies in America is: Happy Thanksgiving, and stay deplorable, my friend.”

Now, that's perfect, especially the kale. I'm right there with him on that, especially on Thanksgiving.

The problem with those on the left: They were roundly shown the door in a massive win with the country saying, yes, we want to "stay deplorable."
