Catherine Herridge Gets Some Big Help in Push for Transcript in CBS Kamala Interview Scandal

Kamala Harris debuted new talking points about former President Donald Trump over the weekend. But they were so lame, it showed how desperate and bankrupt her campaign is at this point. When you're attacking him, claiming his team is "hiding" him when he's everywhere, visiting even blue states campaigning, it just sounds like you have no idea what you are talking about.

As part of that, she spoke about how he didn't want to do the "60 Minutes" interview. He's done dozens of interviews, far more than her. But the problem with that was that Trump's concern about CBS not being fair was pretty much proven when the scandal of how Kamala's interview was edited blew up.

On top of the editing being exposed, CBS is refusing to even address the questions, even as their former star investigative reporter Catherine Herridge called on them to release the full, unedited transcript in the interests of transparency. That makes you think that there must be more and it must be bad, they're digging their heels in like this.

Herridge was then joined by journalist Bari Weiss and the Free Press, as well as the NY Post and others, calling for the release of the transcripts.

Calls for CBS to Release the Kamala Interview Transcript Grow Deafening As Their Reputation Burns

Now she's gotten more help in the effort with journalist Megyn Kelly who has an incredibly popular podcast with a lot of clout, also joining the push for the transcript.

"if you didn’t violate any journalistic ethics, there would be zero harm in releasing the transcript. Do the right thing," Kelly said, scolding the network and putting them on the spot.

On top of that, now Herridge is noting support in a new poll from Harvard Caps Harris says that the public is behind this push for the full, unedited transcript.

"A strong majority of voters (DEM + GOP) think CBS should release the transcript of the 60 Minutes' Harris interview; a slight majority say CBS edited it to make her look better."

Eighty-five percent of people - including 87 percent of the Democrats, 88 percent of the Republicans, and 80 percent of the independents said they should release it. A majority of 53 percent also thought it was done to help Kamala Harris.

On Sunday, "60 Minutes" ran again but did not address the "growing controversy" and the "widespread calls for transparency" as Yahoo called it. "60 Minutes" did not inform its viewers of the situation or mention it whatsoever.

So CBS is burning capital -- if they still had any credibility left -- by refusing to even address this. If they were trying to help her, they may just have hurt her more by adding the growing scandal and the list of things that are imploding her candidacy.
