They're having Kamala Harris running mate Tim Walz do more interviews, but it hasn't been going well.
He was completely bodied by Shannon Bream on Sunday during a "Fox News Sunday" interview. She nailed him on issue after issue, including on his lying. Then, on Monday, his "60 Minutes" interview was released and that was a train wreck. He got nailed for lying about paid leave in the interview by a KSTP reporter and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, who called out his lie on X.

Tim Walz '60 Minutes' Interview Is a Train Wreck, As He Gets Nailed for Lying on the Show
After all that, he was probably relieved to go on Jimmy Kimmel's show on Monday night, knowing what a friendly environment it was going to be.
It wasn't just a friendly environment; it was a sycophantic slobberfest.
Gushing over Tim Walz. @JimmyKimmel: “I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we like you a lot. Honestly, and I can come up with no higher compliment than this, but you seem to me like the kind of guy who cleans the lint out of the dryer after every use.” pic.twitter.com/Uov69wjKjA

“I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we like you a lot," Kimmel simpered.
"Honestly, and I can come up with no higher compliment than this, but you seem to me like the kind of guy who cleans the lint out of the dryer after every use.”
That's not an interview.
So you know there weren't about to be any tough questions coming from Kimmel. I'm not sure what the point of these interviews is when they're going on friendly entities, and they're just preaching to the choir. Trump goes everywhere and reaches out to all people; that's how you get people who are not already in your camp.
Walz again tried to pitch this falsehood that they would "turn the page" on Trump — as though Trump was in office now, when it's Joe Biden and Kamala Harris there, responsible for all the mess. Then he made a weird comment about Kamala.
Tim Walz alludes to his chronic lying after a joke about "waking up" with Kamala Harris: "I have a problem about not being specific with my language" pic.twitter.com/iK4Nvurddi

"I plan on waking up on November 6 with Madam President," he said. Ooh, ick.
Kimmel corrected him, "This should be...I just want to be clear — you won’t be waking up together."
Walz said no, laughing.
"Unless you guys have gotten closer than we thought," Kimmel replied.
"I have a problem about not being specific with my language, so thank you for that," Walz responded.
Translation? That bit was a set-up to fluff off his problem with lying as just not being "specific."
But the problem isn't specificity — it's lying. And it's a continuing problem, as he showed again with the "60 Minutes" interview after a reporter and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce called him out for lying.
So, while Kimmel might give him a pass and laugh about the lying, we the voters will not be giving him a pass.
If he has all these issues, why would anyone vote for him? Especially when he's also just wrong and bad on policy.
