Cringeworthy Kamala Disqualifies Herself With Tone-Deaf Remarks on Economy

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris held an event in Maryland on Thursday to talk about what they were doing to "lower costs for the American people," as Biden's schedule put it.

I wrote earlier about some of Biden's bizarre remarks to reporters as he left the White House on his way to Maryland, including the report that Kamala is going to throw him under the bus to help distance herself from his economy and better her chances in the election. He tied her back to his message, saying she wasn't going to do that.

But it's her economy too; she signed aboard all the bad ideas. She didn't help herself when she bragged about casting the tie-breaking vote for the Inflation Reduction Act, which was just more spending that made inflation worse. It brought the opposite of what the name promised.

Harris also claimed that "no senior should have to choose between either filling their prescription or paying their rent."

But seniors and frankly everyone else have had to make such difficult choices over the past three-plus years precisely because the Biden/Harris policies have driven costs for everything up, from food to housing to gas. That's on them and Harris can't run away from it and act like they weren't in charge all this time.

She even tried to pump up the "extraordinary Joe Biden" in a cringeworthy exercise.

If he was so "extraordinary," why did you guys shove him to the side and treat him like day-old bread?

He smiles as though he completely believes this nonsense from her.

But he can't even get her name right, calling her "Cam-ala." That's how extraordinary he is.

Shame on you for being racist again, Joe. Their rules. But that again says what he really thinks about her, when he can't even keep her name in his head.

This lack of understanding of the economy and how we got inflation should be disqualifying all on its own. She's continuing to try to blame corporations for "price gouging" when this is about government spending. She's supposed to talk more about going after corporations which sounds pretty communistic. The only real "policy" that she's officially put out so far is one she stole from Trump, saying she's for no tax on tips.

But she seems to have forgotten about her administration's own plans to help facilitate the IRS going after people's tips.

The crowd also looks pretty manufactured with all the same signs, not just like regular people coming in off the street to support her. This isn't "engaging with the public" -- this is just empty speaking, using these folks to appear to be a sympathetic backdrop.
