As we reported, former President Donald Trump won in Iowa and it was never in much doubt.

He not only won the state, but it appears at this point that he's on track to win all 99 counties. He also got over 50 percent, even with three other candidates in the race. That demonstrates how broad his support is, across a variety of Republican groups. Fox declared it a "very good night for the Trump camp." 

That's the reality. 

Then there was what Joy Reid and the folks at MSNBC were saying. It was definitely meltdown city as Trump was declared the winner. Yet the MSNBC characters weren't attacking Trump as much as they were attacking the American people, the citizens of Iowa. 

Joy Reid made a vile attack on "white Christians," saying Iowa was a state that was overrepresented by them. She claimed that Iowa  was about 61 percent "white Christian." Then she went about smearing them as racists.

All the things that we think about, about electability, about, you know- what are people gaming out, or- none of that matters when you believe that God has given you this country, that it is yours, and that everyone who is not a white, conservative Christian is a fraudulent American. Is a less- a less real American. Then you don’t care about electability. You care about what God has given you.

There is, of course, no evidence that the 61 percent of white Christians think "everyone who is not a white Conservative Christian is a fraudulent American" or is "less real American." She's also mocking their religious beliefs when she falsely indicts them like this. 

Indeed, it's Reid who is the one pitching hate here against the white Christians of Iowa, it's projection when she accuses people of hate, This is despicable race-baiting. She has no idea what they think; she's just painting the bigoted image of them that she has in her mind. Except she has a platform to spew her hatred, a platform that doesn't care about smearing millions of Americans this way. MSNBC has no shame about employing her and putting this out there. 

But Reid wasn't quite done yet with the race-baiting. She then defamed all Republican Americans, saying they would never vote for Nikki Haley because she was a "brown lady" trying to run in a party that is "deeply anti-immigrant."

This is, of course, just nonsense too. First, does she think Haley is an immigrant? 

Pro-tip for Joy: People of all races were born in this country. Second, the GOP is not anti-immigrant; they are anti-allowing illegal aliens to walk about the border without any border security. Meanwhile, it's the Democrats who are truly "anti-immigrant" because they don't respect that it's people who legally enter this country who are immigrants. Dems want to jump illegal aliens ahead of the people waiting in line to do it right by legally immigrating. 

But at this moment, folks on the left like Joy don't care. They'll say anything they can to try to attack Republicans.
