We previously reported how Biden campaign staffers were sounding off about wanting a permanent ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war and how many of their arguments were just wrong. How do you have a ceasefire with a group that continues to want to kill you and wipe you off the map? They can't truly explain that one.

They were agitating for a permanent ceasefire even if it left Hamas in place because they claimed the war was taking too many civilian lives.

But there was also another fascinating thing that they revealed in their letter. 

Not only did they demand that Biden call for a permanent ceasefire, they also warned that if he didn't change his position, it could hurt his 2024 election chances.

The campaigners cited a recent poll published by The New York Times, which found that a majority of Democratic voters (64 percent) believe that Israel should "stop its military campaign in order to protect against civilian casualties, even if Hamas has not been fully eliminated."

The same survey, which was published in mid-December and was based on the responses of 1,016 registered voters nationwide, found that 72 percent of voters under the age of 30 disapproved of Biden's handling of the conflict, which the letter noted is traditionally a "key Democratic voting bloc."

But the kicker in the letter was this warning to Biden; 

Biden for President staff have seen volunteers quit in droves, and people who have voted blue for decades feel uncertain about doing so for the first time ever, because of this conflict,

They said it wasn't enough just to be an alternative to Trump. 

The campaign has to shift the feeling in the pits of voters' stomachs, the same feeling that weighs on us every day as we fight for your reelection. The only way to do that is to call for a ceasefire."

We've talked about how he's hemorrhaging voter groups. 

Now, he's even hemorrhaging his campaign staff if this is true. Those are the guys who are supposed to be going out to whip up other people to vote for Biden, and they're reportedly fleeing for the hills. Talk about Biden being in real trouble. He keeps racking up the data points on how people are abandoning him. 

Now, I'll take the claim with a little bit of a grain of salt because the campaign staff is trying to pressure him to comply with what they want. But given the mania we've seen from the left on the street on this issue, it's not hard to believe it. 

Plus, we've seen other Biden officials quit over this issue. Indeed, another one quit this week over this issue. 

At this point, Biden has so many people unhappy with him the wonder is how he still has any supporters at all. That's the real question. He can't provide answers or solutions to any of the crises the country is currently facing, from the border and inflation to the hostages still being held by Hamas, so why would anyone vote for him?
