Incredible Irony: Israel's UN Envoy Explains How Israel Protected Al-Aqsa Mosque From Hamas Attack

Israel's UN Envoy Ambassador, Gilad Erdan, told the United Nations General Assembly that "murdering Israelis" was more important to Hamas than preserving the Muslim holy sites and it was Israel that was defending the mosque.

He then posted a video which he said showed Hamas firing a missile toward the Temple Mount and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israel is defending Al-Aqsa Mosque from Hamas missiles. Just as ISIS destroyed mosques, Hamas-ISIS is willing to blow up Al-Aqsa. For Hamas, murdering Israelis is more important than Islamic holy sites. This is what I said today in the UN General Assembly as I showed the Iron Dome interception of a Hamas missile fired towards the Temple Mount. These are the terrorists that the UN has chosen to protect. Unbelievable

Here's the Iron Dome reportedly intercepting the missile.

Katie Pavlich asks a good question there: where is the condemnation from the UN or any of the other people seemingly taking up for Hamas?

The vicious attack on Israel on Oct. 7 in which Hamas slaughtered more than 1200 people was named "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood." Part of their alleged "reasoning" for the attack was supposedly out of concern for Al-Aqsa Mosque and Israeli aggressions. So much for that ridiculous reasoning when they don't seem to care about firing missiles at the mosque themselves.

Indeed, it's Israel that protected the mosque here. It's Israel who's had to pick up the slack in Gaza when Hamas refuses to provide for their people. It's Israel who even warns people with "roof topper" hits so civilians can get out before they take out buildings. It's Hamas who doesn't seem to give a darn about their people. If they did, they never would have attacked Israel or taken hostages, knowing what might come next.

Now they did make a big mistake in killing three hostages as my colleague Streiff reported and there's more out on that story showing they were waving a white flag and shirtless. But the bottom line is that none of this would have happened had Hamas not kidnapped them and put them in that situation.

Israel has a right to respond to the Hamas attack and the Biden team needs to be standing strongly with them on it, and not caving as they seem to be right now, with Biden making wobbly comments behind the scenes to donors.
