Protesters in NYC Chant Support for Hamas, Damage Cop Cars, Even Vandalize Washington Statue

Protests have been wild in New York City over the past two days, like a throwback to the BLM riots of 2020.

On Friday, hundreds took over the Grand Central Station calling to “Free Palestine” and demanding a ceasefire. The leftist group "Jewish Voice for Peace" was behind the protest, and more than 200 were taken into custody by the police.

But that was tame compared to some of the craziness on Saturday.

Among the things that protesters did in New York? They blocked the Brooklyn Bridge, climbed up some of its structures, and chanted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” in essence calling for the destruction of Israel. Some carried signs supporting the "resistance" and "by any means necessary." They even called the march in Brooklyn "Flood Brooklyn for Palestine." The Hamas attack on Israel was called "Operation al-Aqsa Flood." Some even called the brutal surprise attack justified. They also damaged cop cars, according to reports.

It was crazy.

One protestor told the New York Post: 'I personally don't think the state of Israel should exist. I don't think anything except for we need to give the land back to Palestine.'

Another video also emerged earlier in the day of a Jewish man being confronted by protesters, with one of them branding him a 'Zionist pig'.

The man can be seen waving the American and Israeli flag at the side of the protest, which quickly draws the attention of those marching.

One protestor, wearing a keffiyeh, can be seeing calling him a 'zionist pig' and attempts to put a pro-Palestine sticker on him before another protestor holds him back.

But they didn't just stay in Brooklyn; they also marched on Union Square. There were the chants for "intifada," "revolution," and '"there is only one solution."

They scaled a statue of George Washington, chanting, "Allahu Akbar" and "Long Live Hamas." They even vandalized the statue, sticking "Zionists are terrorists" stickers on it.

Julio Rosas caught a lot of it, including one person holding a sign proclaiming "Queers for Palestine" (does he know what they would do to him?) and blocking cars, as other radicals did during the BLM riots/action

Rosas even caught them vandalizing a Starbucks, writing "Free Palestine" and warning "Zionist donors and trustees, hand off our universities."

Then there was this particularly crazy moment where one guy denied that any babies were killed in the attack on Israel as he screamed at the woman who dared to go against his denialism.

This is a scary and troubling prospect to see just how many people have this mentality and completely dismiss and even justify terrorists.
