WATCH: Republicans Shout Down Biden From the Floor During SOTU, Call Him a 'Liar'

I have to admit, I was not looking forward to the State of the Union because frankly, Joe Biden just says the same things over and over again, virtually all of which are lies. Generally, he doesn’t get called out on them because he’s usually in a friendly Democratic crowd.

But during his SOTU on Tuesday, Biden was before a bipartisan crowd, including a lot of critics who are disturbed by how much he has failed the country and how much he has hurt Americans. As I wrote earlier about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), the folks in the new Congress are not going to be Paul Ryans, hold back and play nicey-nice when Joe Biden goes off into fantasyland, lying and attacking them.

It didn’t start well, with Biden calling Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) the “minority leader.”

Then Joe was off and running with an amalgam of lies.

But when Biden began lying about Republicans wanting to cut Social Security and Medicare, the Republicans were not shy about calling him out on it right in the middle of the speech. “Instead of making the wealthy pay their fair share, some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security to sunset. I’m not saying it’s the majority,” Biden lied. Watch House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) behind him, shaking his head “no.”

Then the Republicans furiously rebutted that, booing, shaking their heads, with MTG calling him a “liar.” You can see Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and other members throwing incredulous faces at him. Biden tried to come back, but he never quite recovered from that attack once they busted his lies.

McCarthy has specifically said no Social Security or Medicare cuts are being proposed by Republicans. So this is all just Joe Biden’s fever dream to try to hurt Republicans. Indeed, it’s Joe Biden who has been targeting Medicare Advantage with clawbacks and cuts. So maybe when he’s talking about cuts, he needs to look in the mirror. But it’s the height of hypocrisy, after the Republicans have settled the issue, for him to continue to lie about it.
