Over the past year, we’ve seen inflation skyrocketing, the highest in forty years. We’ve seen record gas prices going through the roof.

According to Bloomberg economists, with all the rising prices, the average American household is going to have to factor in an additional $5,200 a year to cover the same things that we bought last year. That works out to an additional $433 per month on the same goods and services over the prior year. For many people, that’s crushing, especially if things were already tight.

But what we’ve heard from the Biden Administration hasn’t helped. We’ve heard ridiculous approaches including trying to blame Vladimir Putin, telling people just not to factor in the meat prices, and to buy expensive electric vehicles.

Even CNN laughed at the Biden team’s effort to try to shove the blame off on Putin by calling it the “Putin Price Hike.” Such ridiculous and obvious propaganda only makes Americans angrier and more convinced that the Biden team is uncaring about what is going on.

But how much do the liberal elite not care about Americans? Fox Sports analyst and pro-football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe weighed in with a clueless tweet.

“I’d rather pay 20 bucks a gallon than have Trump in office,” Sharpe said in response to someone asking if he still hated President Donald Trump, given the disaster that Joe Biden has wrought on America. “Hope that answers your question.”

So he can afford to pay 20 bucks a gallon because he’s worth $14 million. But he doesn’t give a darn that would cause grievous harm to most Americans. Can you imagine how that would hurt people? I can but Sharpe can’t. All that matters is that his emotional hate of Trump is assuaged.

Now, I get that he hates Trump. It was so bad when we had peace, low unemployment, no inflation, and a banging economy. The horror! But what’s ironic about Sharpe’s comment is that if we did have $20 per gallon at the pump, people would be flooding into the ballot box to vote for Trump because of how much they would want to get rid of Biden and how much they would want that time of peace and prosperity under Trump back.

As it stands right now — with the high prices we already have — the Democrats are going to get their doors blown off in the midterms because of Biden’s incompetence. Polls are already predicting that Trump would beat either Biden or Kamala Harris handily in 2024 if things remain the same.

Unfortunately, the rest of us are not as well-off as Sharpe. But we get the incredible harm that Joe Biden has been wreaking and how much better Trump was for our country.
