‘Let’s go, Brandon’ – the meme with the implicit criticism of Joe Biden – has taken off like a rocket.

As we saw today, it was even used by Rep. Bill Posey (R-FL) on the floor of the House as well as by the Attorney General of Texas Ken Paxton when announcing he would be suing Joe Biden over the border for stopping the building of the border wall. As we noted, while Joe Biden stopped the border wall that would have helped protect Americans, he was having fencing built around his beach house.

But given that criticism of Biden, one might imagine there would be a backlash from some in the media or on the left against the meme.

Now some are asking if that’s what’s happening after actions taken by YouTube.

Rapper Bryson Gray is saying that he had a music video that was poking fun at Biden removed from the platform for “medical misinformation.”

“Why is the most censored rapper in the country someone that doesn’t even curse in songs?” Gray told Fox News. “Why can you rap about murder, sex, and drugs but when I rap about questioning the government I get banned? Is this still America?”

Here’s the song that seems to have triggered YouTube.

I’m assuming the problem here is saying the “jab” hasn’t stopped the spread, which is demonstrably true since it’s still spreading, and you can get it and spread it, even if vaccinated.

YouTube hasn’t explained what the issue is although they did tell Gray that they would be passing the issue on to a team for “re-review.” They didn’t respond to an inquiry from Fox News.

But according to Dave Rubin of the Rubin Report, there are other reports of YouTube issues with “Let’s go, Brandon” in terms of users being punished. But he notes, hilariously, that he isn’t saying “Let’s go, Brandon” on his YouTube video; he’s just asking repeated questions about it. Nicely done!

So YouTube, what’s the story here? Why are you flagging this song and what else are you flagging and for what reason? Why does YouTube suddenly care about “medical misinformation” when there’s all kinds of false stuff and other craziness on their platform? One has to wonder if it’s because this meme is blowing up a political narrative with which they agree.

This move just makes no sense and is going to further inflame the movement.
