Biden Gets Confused Again and Says a Lot of Gibberish About Rising Prices

Joe Biden held a virtual meeting on infrastructure today with some governors, mayors, and other officials to push his infrastructure plan.

Among the people in attendance was Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

But Biden appeared to get confused while addressing her at one point. Despite the fact that her picture was on the screen with her name in big, bold letters, Biden still referred to her as “Jennifer” as he thanked her for the work that “you’ve done and continue to do.”

It appeared that Biden confused Whitmer with the former governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, who held that position from 2003-2011. But now she’s serving as Biden’s energy secretary. So he obviously should have known that she wasn’t the governor of Michigan now. But hey, when has reality ever intruded on Joe Biden? Whitmer was also supposed to have been on his shortlist of choices for the VP slot. Guess not if he’s not even sure who she is. The Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News both noted Biden’s mistake.

Then Biden tried to sell the notion that the horrible numbers about inflation rising to 5.4%, the consumer price index showing prices again rising at the fastest pace since 2008, and wages paying for less was “good news.” But even in that effort, he appeared not to know what he was trying to say and got confused. He just spouted out some gibberish and I’m not even sure what he was trying to say, apart from “It’s good.” Maybe such rising prices are good to him, but not to most sane Americans.

You know Biden is in bad straits when even CNN has to call him out on that one. Their report on rising prices, on everything from milk to gas, was just damning.

This is Joe Biden’s America — and we’re in one heck of a mess because of him.
