On Friday, we brought you the shameful story of how New York admitted deliberately undercounting nursing home deaths. What’s worse is that the undercounting of the deaths started after the state and Gov. Andrew Cuomo began coming under fire for an order requiring nursing homes to accept patients who were positive for the virus, making it appear like they were trying to cook the numbers to be lower.

What they were did after they started coming under scrutiny and 1700 deaths were announced to have been undercounted, was not count the folks who lived in nursing homes who at the end died in the hospital. That not only undercounts so it doesn’t look as bad for Cuomo and his order, but it deceives the stats from knowing how much of a problem the nursing home issues is.

If the governor had been a Republican, he would have been cut apart by the media. It would be the huge scandal it deserves to be. Instead, they’ve barely touched the general story in terms of holding Cuomo accountable and they haven’t covered this breaking news.

But Janice Dean, senior meteorologist for Fox News, is raising the alarm about it because she has been touched by it in a terrible way.

New York may have stepped in it more with this apparent effort to cover-up the real count. This has angered people even more.

Now Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) is calling for a federal investigation. This was on top of other Republicans in the state such as former Gov. George Pataki, who also called for an investigation.

This is just shameful and had it been anyone other than Cuomo, it would be leading every network news program.
