After lying for three days, Iran finally admitted that it shot down the Ukrainian plane with 176 people aboard, mostly Iranian citizens or Iranians with dual nationality.
The government claimed that an IRGC commander shot accidentally believing that it was a cruise missile from the United States. They admit that they failed to shut down civilian air traffic despite their plan to fire missiles and then shooting those missiles at United States forces in Iraq.
While admitting fault, Foreign Minister Javad Zarif still tried to shift some blame to the United States for Iran’s actions.
A sad day. Preliminary conclusions of internal investigation by Armed Forces:
Human error at time of crisis caused by US adventurism led to disaster
Our profound regrets, apologies and condolences to our people, to the families of all victims, and to other affected nations.

Iranian citizens are outraged at their government for their incompetence and for lying about it for three days.
If you want to see videos of people full of courage, these would be it. They are chanting “Shameless!” at the IRGC folks and calling the “Supreme Leader” a murderer. Sounds just about right.
Masih Alinejad is a heroic Iranian journalist who is here in the U.S. but whose brother is being held prisoner by the regime. Despite that, she’s still fighting by getting the word out by spreading videos like these.
Protests erupt against the Revolutionary Guards at Amir-Kabir University in Tehran due to authorities' incompetence and negligence after the recent plane crash that killed more than 176 people.

3-More protest videos from protests in Tehran against the Revolutionary Guards.
Protests are anti-regime in character. They're chanting "murderer Khamenei"(Supreme Leader).

Doesn’t look like they’re upset about the “revered” IRGC terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani, as many in liberal media would have you believe, does it?
The government killed 1500 protesters in November, so it is no small thing to do this right in the face of the killers.

These people have suffered for forty years under this regime. They’re tired of being abused and lied to. They deserve their freedom.
