Today, some of the Congressional members got an intelligence briefing from the White House about the airstrike on IRGC terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani.

During a press conference after the event, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) spoke about tensions with Iran and said that talk of war triggered her ‘PTSD.’

From Free Beacon:

“I feel ill a little bit, because of everything that is taking place and I think every time I hear of conversations around war, I find myself being stricken with PTSD,” Omar said during a press conference held by the Congressional Progressive Caucus. “And I find peace knowing that I serve with great advocates for peace and people who have shown courage against war.”

Talk about military response to Iran makes her sick. Not so much talk about American war dead.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) started to talk about American war dead and wounded during the Iraq War.

As Lee was talking about 4400 dead and many more wounded, you could see Omar continually smiling, giggling and turning around, talking to Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) among others as Lee spoke. Lee was very appropriate for the discussion, but not so Omar, not to mention Tlaib. It was pretty disrespectful.
