Does Colin Kaepernick really want to get back on an NFL team?

It surely doesn’t sound like it.

First, the NFL went out of its way to set up a workout for him before 32 teams in Atlanta.

What was his response? To skip out at the last minute and hold an alternate workout at a local high school. Seven teams reportedly showed up their to view his ability.

He wore a shirt with the name “Kunta Kinte,” apparently trying to suggest he was fighting back against slavery, not a rejected free agent paid millions by Nike.

Then at the end of that workout, he made remarks that didn’t sound like he was applying for a job.

The NFL responded:

So after ten days, how has that all worked out for Kaepernick?

Well, perhaps not surprisingly, reports are that not one team has expressed an interest in him.

On Monday, Kaepernick posted some highlights from his workout, claiming he was ready. But on the video he continued the rant that he had been “denied for three years.” He then attacked the NFL accusing them of “running” away from him.

“We have nothing to hide, so we’re waiting for the 32 owners, 32 teams, Roger Goodell, all of them to stop running,” he said on the video. “To stop running from the truth. To stop running from the people. We’ll let you know if we hear from them. Balls in their court.”

Who would not want to hire someone with an attitude like that?

But was it even about getting a chance to play or just another opportunity to advertise himself?
