In this episode of "Play Stupid Leftist Games, Win Stupid Leftist Prizes: Canadian Edition"...

In the larger sense of today's serious goings-on, this story is irrelevant. In the sense of the mind-crippling affliction of Trump Derangement Syndrome, it's not only a bit humorous; it's also indicative of the unwarranted hubris of our leftist neighbors to the north.

A Canadian citizen seemingly thought the Jersey Shore Boardwalk was the perfect place to pick a fight with two minors who had the audacity to be dressed in “patriotic-colored” sweatpants featuring “Trump” and “ICE.” In America on Independence Day weekend, no less. Yeah, bad idea.

Yep, that was all it took to launch the poor TDS-riddled woman into an apoplectic fit to the point of physical assault. Police said she struck one of the girls in the face and body.

According to authorities, 33-year-old Kaitlyn E. Tracey didn’t just confront a group of girls on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk — she filmed herself doing it. You know, because if you’re going to make a stupid decision, you might as well document it for the evidence file.

The story was first reported by NJ.com after Tracey was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment, and obstruction, for which she was taken to the Ocean County Jail.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly slapping a teenage girl wearing sweatpants with the words “Trump” and “ICE” on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach. The teen and three friends were walking on the boardwalk on July 3 when Kaitlyn E. Tracey approached them as she recorded with her phone, according to court documents.

Tracey yelled at the two people in the group wearing “patriotic colored” sweatpants before she slapped the victim across her face and body, an affidavit of probable cause stated. The victim was not injured. Her age is redacted in court documents.

Tracey, of Asbury Park, fled but was identified following an investigation and arrested on Monday. Police said the assault was captured on surveillance video.

Police charged Tracey with endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction. [She] entered the United States with a passport in 2024, court papers state.

The plot twist writes itself: Following the incident, Tracey was later arrested and detained by ICE.

Tracey had been comfortably living in Asbury Park with her husband after entering the U.S. in 2024 under a Canadian passport — obviously under the false impression that U.S. immigration laws were more of a suggestion than a rule.

Her husband, Matthew Geroni, says the fun came to an abrupt end when ICE detained her and hauled her off to the Delaney Hall Immigration Detention Center in Newark later on Monday.

Geroni, an American citizen, has been boo-hooing to his TikTok followers about his wife's arrest and detention by ICE:

"Yesterday, July 13, my wife was detained by ICE and brought to Delaney Hall in Newark. i need help. I need my wife. I don’t want to see her get hurt. My main goal is the safety and well-being of my wife, and that is about it."

No, bud, that's not what this is about.

What this is about is your wife being unable to contain herself — to the point of becoming physical — because she couldn't handle seeing American citizens celebrating Independence Day, in part by wearing gear in support of President Donald Trump and the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement federal law enforcement agency.
