Call it what you want. Radical indoctrination by public school teachers? Like father, like son? Peer pressure? The Islamization of Europe? It really doesn't matter what we call it, does it?
Radicalized Islamists have committed horrific crimes around the world for decades. Toss in the continuing Islamization of Europe, the "Somalia problem" in Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Maine, and elsewhere in the country — with minimal, if any legal consequences — and one gets the sense that the whole failed experiment has the potential to get a whole lot worse before it gets better.
Speaking of Europe, counterterrorism police in Great Britain are reportedly conducting an investigation into the stabbing of two young boys at a London school on Tuesday. Laughably, authorities said the incident was due to "surrounding circumstances."
Factual translation:
The alleged attacker was a 13-year-old boy who reportedly cried "Allahu Akbar!" while he stabbed two classmates, ages 12 and 13. Both boys were reported in "serious" condition at a London hospital.
Also factual: the disgusting way both the authorities and media *reported* on the attack. Check it out:
Officers are continuing to question a 13-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, as counter terrorism officers lead the investigation.
Det Ch Supt Luke Williams said due to "surrounding circumstances", the investigation was being led by counter terrorism officers. It has not been declared a terrorist incident.
BBC Home Affairs Correspondent Daniel Sandford said it was understood that some had heard the attacker saying words like "Allahu Akbar" - or similar - meaning "God is greatest" in Arabic, during the incident.
There are reports that people may have been sprayed with a substance, although it is not believed to have been noxious.
BBC London understands the suspect was wearing school uniform. The suspect left the scene following the stabbing, but was later arrested and a weapon was recovered, police said.
Authorities said they were conducting a "fast-paced investigation" and were continuing to make inquiries into the circumstances.
Hmm.
So let's put on our crime-solver hats for a minute and see if we can help British authorities figure out the "surrounding circumstances" that led to the clearly premeditated attack, shall we?
A thirteen-year-old boy. He brings a knife to school. He stabs two classmates while reportedly yelling "Allahu Akbar!" He flees the scene. OK, I'm going to go out on a (very safe) limb and guess that whatever was behind the attack is listed earlier in this article.
The question is, why can't counterterrorism authorities in the U.K. figure that out, as well?
To be fair, let's revisit the notion of "surrounding circumstances."
It's possible that the incident was the culmination of an ongoing spat between the three boys, hurt feelings, or perhaps bullying — which raises the question about whether or not the stabbing was retribution or even a premeditated attack. In other words, is it possible that radicalized ideology wasn't a factor?
We don't know the answer(s) as of this writing, so I'll leave it there, for now.

In a letter to parents, head teacher Alex Thomas described the incident as “a deeply distressing event for our entire school community, adding:
We are cooperating closely with authorities and will share verified information as soon as possible. Please keep our students and their families in your thoughts during this difficult time.
A police department spokesman said they are “keeping an open mind."
I'm not fond of social media posts that end with "let that sink in," or "read that again" — as if for extra emphasis — but in this case, wow.
