Yep, Trump Did That: Migrant Caravan Sets Course for New Destination, Denies It Plans to Head to U.S.

Now that the Trump administration has shut down the Southern Border tighter than Illinois Democrat Gov. JB Pritzker's underwear, a new migrant caravan has set a course for a destination not the U.S.

The caravan, composed primarily of Cuban and Haitian refugees, departed from Mexico’s southern border with Guatemala, marching toward Mexico City to seek asylum there. As I suggested, the group insists it has no plans to continue on to the U.S. border.

Now, I'd normally be beyond skeptical about such a claim, given the millions of illegal aliens virtually welcomed into the country by the Democrat Party during the four disastrous years of the Biden-Harris- Autopen administration, but given the historical efforts of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) the Department of Homeland Security, and border czar Tom Homan — all under the direction of President Donald Trump — I'm inclined to take the migrants' word on this one.

Maybe.

As noted by Breitbart News, a Spanish-language report by Agencia EFE, the leading Spanish-language news outlet, the caravan included hundreds of migrants from Cuba, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Venezuela, and Haiti. The EFE reported that the group's goal was to find more stable job opportunities than those available on Mexico’s southern border in Chiapas.

Fair enough. But keep your word, would-be illegal aliens, lest you experience what your fellow-migrants have experienced during the second Trump Administration.

Here's more:

According to EFE, the illegal immigration status in Mexico also increases the level of vulnerability that exposes them to the potential for violent situations, assaults, fraudulent schemes, and limited access to medical services.

The migrants are now avoiding border cities in the north and south of Mexico, such as Tijuana and Tapachula, and are opting to head to Mexico City as their preferred destination instead of moving along the traditional route that ends in multiple destinations across the United States.

Throughout the constant flow of illegals into the U.S. under Biden, the problem for most conservatives — yours truly, included — wasn't about people looking for steady income or a new dream; it was about seeking those goals, illegally in the United States

People who want to better their lives should be commended, but illegally entering the U.S. was never going to work in the long run — after a new sheriff moved into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

As I suggested earlier, it's safe to assume that the days of migrant caravans overrunning the Southern Border are over for good, including after Trump leaves office in 2029. Reason being, threefold:

First, it's a no-brainer if the Republican Party holds onto the presidency in the 2028 election.

Second, Trump laid bare Biden's insistence (lie) that he needed congressional legislation to shut down the border.

And third, even if the Democrats win the White House in 2028 — shudder the thought — a strong majority of Americans wouldn't tolerate the return to madness intentionally brought about by Biden and the Democrat Party.

Meanwhile, Democrats in D.C. and across the fruited plain continue to howl at the moon nightly over the "evils" of Donald Trump.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
