As President Donald Trump continues to rewrite the first 100 days of the U.S. presidency in historic fashion, the clowns on the left continue to grasp at straws (that don't exist) as they predictably attack this president and virtually everything he says and does. Meanwhile, he continues to fulfill the promises he made to the American people throughout his extraordinary 2024 campaign.
Funnyman — make that former funnyman — Jon Stewart, Monday host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," is one of those clowns.
On this week's episode of the ridiculous show, Stewart beclowned himself mightily, claiming with a straight face that Trump's bid to remove taxpayer funding from hopelessly left-wing slanted NPR (National Public Radio) and PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) is yet another example of Trump's "authoritarianism" in action.
How so?
Among Stewart's absurd examples — in addition to the NPR/PBS thing — is Trump's move to protect female athletes from males pretending to be females beating the bejesus out of them in female sporting events. And Stewart even went as far as to suggest Trump is to blame for a series of plane crashes, although I'm not sure how "dictator" Trump is responsible for plane crashes.
Ready? Here's our boy, Jon — first mocking Trump with faux reverence:
President Trump. Generalissimo. Oh, great Moses. I don't know what your advisors have told you about the authoritarian bargain, but the basic deal is: the American people look the other way while you disappear undesirables, knuckle under the elites, ban all seven trans athletes from our nation's beloved NCAA fencing tournaments, you know, all the people that are holding us back, and then you, in turn, make s*** work.
Stop the ridiculous tape.
On the contrary, Mr. Stewart, a strong majority of Americans voted for exactly what Trump is accomplishing, from ending the Biden-Harris illegal alien crisis to standing up strongly to foreign adversaries to uncovering and eliminating massive amounts of government waste, fraud, and abuse — saving taxpayers billions of dollars in the process. Hence, I doubt that the aforementioned "American people" are "looking the other way" while this president continues to deliver what they voted for.
Second, Stewart attempts to mock with his claim that just seven so-called "trans athletes" participate in women's sporting events, which is nonsense. Moreover, what about young women being seriously injured by volleyball strikes to their face by larger, stronger males? And what about the dreams of young female athletes being dashed by male swimmers and runners? The list goes on — and Stewart is smart enough to know it.
Now worked up even further, Stewart launched into the NPR/PBS thing:
You want to destroy NPR and PBS, the Voice of America, sell the naming rights of the Washington Monument to Hims.com? Use the R-word, the P-word, the C-word, make up your own slurs? Have the United States Naval Academy remove Maya Angelou from its bookshelves, but for some reason, keep "Mein Kampf," which is a real [bleep] thing that they did, we'll be fine!
Oh, Jon — even you are smarter than that.
First, NPR, PBS, and the Voice of America aren't even close to being the voice of the American people or their opinions of the radical leftism that has continued to metastasize throughout the Democrat Party and its quasi-official lapdog media.
Stewart's other above silliness aside, the United States Naval Academy is no place for propaganda, and Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf" remains an important part of history as a reminder to the world of what real authoritarians can do if not stopped before it's too late, so please stop with the absurdity.
Stewart was even sillier — and by "sillier," I mean more delusional:
You want to ignore the Supreme Court and all the other courts and take away people's licenses to broadcast? Fine! But when the planes go up, they've got to come down, and not on fire. You don't even have to have them be on time. You can take over Greenland, demonize Canada, dominate the golfing pro circuit, but in return, our children should be somewhat safe from most Victorian-era diseases. We love our children. We love them. We love our children.
I won't waste time or effort responding to the above nonsense, but I will say this:
The left continues its never-ending meltdown over Trump's successes and related approval ratings in the polls. Having zero constructive policies of their own, leftists continue to reduce themselves to exactly the same kind of nonsense that helped Trump secure an even broader and more decisive victory in the 2024 presidential election than he otherwise might have achieved.

So I strongly urge Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, the lady geniuses of "The View," the Trump-haters of MSNBC and CNN, and everyone else of their ilk to continue doing exactly what they're doing.
