The Chinese Spy Balloon? Team Biden Held Secret Talks With Beijing About Fear of Notifying the Public

The report you're about to read would normally be unbelievable.

A U.S. president's administration holding private talks with Communist Chinese officials about the administration's concerns over the potential impact on this country's relationship with China if the origin of a Chinese spy balloon and its intent were disclosed to the American public — all of which occurred before the public was notified about the spy balloon.

Yet, given that the president was Joe Biden, who was allegedly the "Big Guy," as in head of the Biden Crime Family™ whose "alleged" ties with Chinese Party officials were widely reported, the story isn't unbelievable in the least.

As exclusively reported by Fox News on Wednesday, Biden State Department officials held private talks with Beijing counterparts about the balloon, which crossed into U.S. airspace in January 2023 — and discussed the implications the balloon's publicity would have on the relationship between the U.S. and China, according to Trump administration officials.

Not to digress, but can you imagine how President Trump would react if China attempted the same "invasion" of American airspace with an obvious spy balloon?

Here's the timeline, according to Fox:

U.S. officials identified the spy balloon infiltrating U.S. airspace on Jan. 28, 2023, and an Air Force fighter jet shot down the Chinese spy balloon off the coast of South Carolina Feb. 4, 2023, two days after the Pentagon issued a statement on the matter.

Biden officials held discussions with Beijing Feb. 1, 2023, about the balloon, and discussed the impact disclosing the balloon to the public could have on the relationship with China, internal State Department documents show, two Trump administration officials told Fox News Digital.

Clearly, the Biden administration was more concerned about the impact of the balloon on Americans than about the balloon itself and its intelligence-gathering capabilities.

I doubt that the above is technically treasonous, but what else should we call it?

According to Fox, an internal State Department readout of the talks between then-Secretary of State Antony Blinken and a top Chinese diplomat disclosed that Blinken informed his Chinese counterpart that if the presence of the balloon were revealed publicly, it could have "profound implications for our relationship" with China, particularly amid efforts to stabilize the bilateral relationship with Beijing.

Yet the balloon wasn't shot down until it left U.S. airspace.

I'd be inclined to sarcastically say, "Yeah, Joe did that," but Biden was, for all intents and purposes, cognitively vacant by that time, leaving various left-wing members of the administration to pull his strings. That is if he was even informed about the goings on in the first place.

A spokesman for Blinken said in a Tuesday statement to Fox News Digital:

Former Secretary Blinken advocated strongly to tell the American people about China’s rogue balloon, which is exactly what happened. He has a long history of being tough on China while actually delivering results.

Memo to the spokesman:

No one is suggesting that the American people weren't told about the "rogue" (spy) balloon. Rather, documents prove that the public wasn't notified about the origin of the balloon until after Blinken, and presumably other State Department officials, discussed with the ChiComs their concern about notifying American citizens. As for Blinken's "long history of being tough on China," please.
