British journalist and unabashed liberal Piers Morgan is no fan of President-elect Donald Trump.
Nevertheless, the acerbic former CNN host tore into the Democrat Party like nobody's business in a blistering op-ed posted in the New York Post on Monday. In a word, Morgan had two words for left-wingers who continue their hysterical meltdowns over Trump's historic win over Vice President Kamala Harris.
SHUT UP!
And Piers being Piers, which can be beautiful at times, he had a whole lot more to say about the "wailing, whining, woke, wastrels." Yep, this is definitely a fun read — for all of the deliciously right reasons.
"At first it was funny," Morgan began -- then he immediately dropped the hammer.
Watching the woke brigade predictably lose its collective s*** over Donald Trump’s stunning comeback win made me laugh out loud. Not least because they’re always telling us what a terrible loser he is!
But now, two weeks later, these incessantly wailing, whining, woke wastrels have become a constant irritant to my eyes, my ears and my intestines.
We're with you, Piers, with the possible exception of the "intestines" part.
Morgan compared the left's collective behavior after Harris went down in flames in spectacular fashion to actor Peter Finch's character in the classic movie "Network" and his memorable declaration after he finally lost it: "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!"
It started with the howling. Video after video of hysterical, mainly female Democratic voters literally shrieking dementedly into their phone cameras and posting their tormented anguish to the world.
Then they started shaving their hair off, borrowing from the radical feminist 4B movement originating in South Korea. Then they vowed never to have sex again.
“F*** being skinny,” shouted one in a viral TikTok clip, “f*** being hot, f*** being all the things that the patriarchy wants us to be, ’cause clearly they don’t give a s*** about us. Stop dating men, stop having sex with men, stop talking to men, divorce your husbands, leave your f***ing boyfriends, leave them!”
I hesitate to point out the bleeding obvious here -- that no man in his right mind would want to be around such an unhinged lunatic anyway.
Right? I'm sorry, ladies — the ladies to whom Pierce referred. We've all seen them on Facebook, with their shaved heads, defiantly glaring into the camera. 'Nuff said.
Morgan gleefully continued:
Then came the liberal exodus from Elon Musk’s X, led by author Stephen King, who declared: “I’m leaving Twitter. Tried to stay, but the atmosphere has just become too toxic."
[...]
He was soon followed by a fuming red carpet of Hollywood’s most ardent Trump-bashers like Barbra Streisand, Jamie Lee Curtis, Alyssa Milano and Bette Midler, and longtime Trump-loathing media types like Don Lemon.
Melodramatic, much?
None of the above, far as I can tell, has booked a permanent flight out of the US, and they never will; they never do. Their ridiculous, supposedly defiant "threats" are nothing but virtue signaling nonsense to other lunatics, as Morgan described, of the same Trump-loathing ilk.
MORE FUN:
Morgan's next observation was among his most hilarious.
In the UK, the boycott has been even more amusing, with the left-wing Guardian newspaper quitting X after offering therapy counseling to staff traumatized by Trump’s win, and even a bridge [is] now joining in.
Yes, an actual BRIDGE.
The Clifton Suspension Bridge & Museum, located in Bristol in the west of England, announced it was also departing X: “With the rise in inappropriate content and decrease in meaningful engagement with our followers, we have chosen to no longer post to this account.”
Translation: We are completely embarrassed by our previous ranting and raving and we're not brave enough to pay the consequences.
The 'Mainstream' Media
Doctor, author, and TV commentator Dr. Drew Pinsky told Fox News host Sean Hannity that the post-election mass hysteria can be primarily be laid at the feet of the so-called "mainstream media."
The source of this [hysteria and delusion] has been the mainstream media. The American public has been propagandized to the point that they have literally become mentally ill. And the thing about delusionality is it can’t be reasoned with. We have been through a stage of delusion that started with the first Trump presidency and was put into absolute orbit with COVID.
"Can't be reasoned with." Ain't that the truth?
The Bottom Line
You have a better chance of teaching a pigeon to speak French than convincing a whacked-out left-winger that Harris and down-ballot Democrats got their butts handed to them because Democrat policies are no longer in touch with a majority of the American people. And, of course, that Kamala Harris is not only a hollow fraud; she was also an absolutely terrible campaigner.
