Trump Drops First Campaign Ad on Harris After Biden Drops Out and It's As Good As You Knew It Would Be

Welp, that didn't take long. Within two hours of embattled Joe Biden announcing on Sunday he would drop his reelection bid after his disastrous presidential debate performance just three weeks ago, Team Trump dropped a blistering campaign ad targeting almost equally embattled Kamala Harris, whom many Democrats believe should replace Biden at the top of the ticket.

Why, it's "almost" like Trump & Co. saw it coming, as the walls have continued to close in on Joe.

Axios national political correspondent Alex Wagner posted the Trump campaign ad, prefacing it thusly.

Trump’s Super PAC drops an ad that was seemingly ready to go “Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe's obvious mental decline….Kamala knew Joe couldn't do the job, so she did it. Look what she got done: a border invasion, runaway inflation, the American Dream dead.”

One-hundred percent bingo. Then, the ad.

Devastating — and every word true.

Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe's obvious mental decline.

Then, a short clip of Biden falling as he attempts to navigate the stairway to Air Force One, with the clip including this from Harris:

Our president is in good shape. He's tireless, vibrant, and I have no doubt about the strength of the work that we have done.

Is this point when we say, "Liar, liar, pants on fire"?

The voice-over then continues:

But Kamala knew Joe couldn't do the job, so she did it. Look what she got done: a border invasion, runaway inflation; the American Dream, dead. They created this mess. They know Kamala owns this failed record.

Again, every word of that 30-second campaign ad is true. And where has Harris been? Laughing hysterically about yellow school buses...

...and Venn diagrams.

Yet a growing legion of disillusioned Democrat lawmakers want you to believe that this woman — Kamala Harris, of all people — is qualified to be the next leader of the free world.

We live in strange times, gang — and the Democrat Party wants to make those times even stranger by having you believe that Kamala Harris can get the job done.

If Madam Vice President becomes the 2024 Democrat Party presidential nominee and miraculously somehow goes on the beat Donald Trump in the November election, God help us all.
