WATCH: Segment on ABC Rips Skyrocketing Grocery Prices Since 2019, Fails to Mention 'Biden'

Imagine, just for a nanosecond, the reaction of the media if less than three years into Donald Trump's presidency, grocery prices would have increased 30 percent on average, with some products increasing 50 percent or more. Can you envision the lapdog media's histrionic fits as prices rose higher and higher?

Trump would have been drawn and quartered — even more so than he already is.

Yet, ABC's "Good Morning America" (GMA) aired a segment on its Wednesday show in which co-anchor Michael Strahan and correspondent Rebecca Jarvis blasted the increase in grocery prices since 2019 — identical to the 30 percent and 50 percent figures I used in the "Trump" illustration.

So, how many times did they mention "Biden" or the 46th president's disastrous policies that have led us to this reality? Zero.

Musn't make Joe look bad, you know. Besides, maybe they "forgot" to mention him.

Jarvis visually demonstrated the hefty difference between the amount of groceries a consumer could buy for $100 in 2019 versus 2024, saying:

The visual is what really creates the contrast. So this is 2019....This is what you got in 2019 for $100. Come over here. This is the current day — what you get. And you see, there's an entire section that's missing because you're getting about 30 percent less these days for your money.

Jarvis must be wrong. According to Joe, anyway. She continued:

Back then you could have done the frozen foods, some meat, some hot dogs, some steaks, some strawberries. You see that's missing from over here because $100 then will now cost you about $130. So you want to buy all of that then? Today it would cost you $130. If your budget is $100, then you're sticking to $100, but you’re getting less.

Obviously, Jarvis was playing the "shrinkflation" trick that Buck-Passing-Biden tries to blame on "profiteering" corporations.

Strahan acknowledged:

Prices for hundreds of food items have jumped more than 50 percent since 2019.

Yet, neither Strahan nor Jarvis mentioned the "B" word or his miserably failed policies even once.

The Bottom Line:

ABC knows just as well as we do that Bidenflation is making it more and more difficult for millions of hardworking American families to make ends meet every month, or they wouldn't have aired the segment.

Yet, by refusing to mention "Biden" or the cause(s) of inflation, the only "value" they provided their viewers was yet another reminder of where they now find themselves--in contrast with where they were when Biden was still in his basement.

Good job, ABC.
