House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi is going out with one last hoorah by claiming Republicans could "create a false count" during the 2026 midterm elections. This is coming from one of the leaders of the same Democrat Party that continuously talks about how President Trump and the GOP are "sowing doubt" in elections, yet opted out of holding a legitimate primary election and installed former Vice President Kamala Harris as the DNC presidential nominee in 2024.
In an interview with MS NOW, Pelosi told Ali Vitali:
“But in addition to that, we have to be on guard as to what they [Republicans] may try to do to the technology. They may try to creep into the technology and create a false count."
Nancy Pelosi says Trump and Republicans may try to rig vote counts in the midterms:

Pelosi continued, telling Vitali:
"There are so many things that the Republicans will try to do to disrupt an election [that] can be avoided by early voting, by vote by mail. … There’s so many things that we can do to minimize the problem and then focus on the harder part.”
Currently, in Pelosi's home state of California, two Republicans — Steve Hilton and Riverside Sheriff Chad Bianco — are leading the pack in several polls, including in a poll conducted by the state's Democrat Party. In addition to that, enough Californians signed the petition to get the voter ID initiative on the November ballot. So it's evident why Pelosi seems worried and is now claiming that the midterm elections could be rigged.

Poll funded by California Democratic Party shows two Republicans lead pack of candidates for Governor.
Steve Hilton 16%
Chad Bianco 14%
Then 3 Democrats basically in a dead heat:
Eric Swalwell 10%
Katie Porter 10%
Tom Steyer 10% https://t.co/sUlITeX9Rv
She concluded by saying the following:
“This is everything. Our democracy is at stake,” she said of the midterm elections. “And what is a democracy? Free and fair elections, independent judiciary, separation of power ... rule of law, due process, all of that. That is all at risk, so we have to win.
“But we don’t win by talking about that. We win by addressing why we’re in Congress: for the people,” she continued. “And that is by making sure we lower costs, that we fix what they’re doing to the health care system … and that we fight the corruption that is going on there.”
Well, here is the problem with Pelosi's assessment. The Democrats had complete control of the government for two years during Biden's term. Prices went up, we saw record-high inflation, and higher gas prices than we are seeing now, but we heard no complaints from Democrats at the time. Not to mention the open border crisis. It's all a game for Pelosi. She especially doesn't care now because she is retiring from Congress and does not need to answer to her constituents.
The fact of the matter is, we saw what the Democrats did when they had control of the White House and Congress. Nothing that eased the lives of middle or working-class individuals. They made life more difficult by pushing for people to get the COVID-19 vaccine or face consequences, whilst grocery prices, gas prices, and everything in between skyrocketed.

Nothing will change if Democrats take back the House in November. It will be the same playbook we saw from 2018 through 2020, with constant attempts to impeach Trump, instead of staying true to their promise to supposedly make things more affordable for Americans.
Editor's Note: The Democrats are doing everything in their power to undermine the integrity of our elections.
