Watch: Disgraceful Dem State Senator Now Defending Biological Males in Women’s Sports

In 2024, one of the things the GOP homed in on was getting biological males out of women's sports. A logical person would look at this and observe, "It's not fair for girls and women who have worked hard, trained, and practiced for this moment to have a biological male win instead."

Unfortunately, some people, including those in power, think women should embrace competing against men. Democrat state senator Catherine Miranda tells Kaylie Ray:

"I have my sports hat on now. It's all about a sports mentality growing up in sports, being a tomboy. You look pretty healthy. I've played against girls that look like you. ... But it's a sports mentality when you're growing up, and how much competition that you'll take on. So it is not a silver bullet for one community of sports players; it's the individual person, on how competitive you want to be. So you grew up one way, I grew up a different way. I would have taken on a man in a heartbeat. I've played in, I was the only girl sometimes in sports. But to have a man on my team, I would have welcomed it. ... This bill is bad because you're just putting a whole community of women's sports in one category, when women like me, we have different opinion. So how competitive do you think you really are?"

As someone who has played basketball since a very young age, as well as baseball in middle school and high school, for us to be more competitive, we usually played against the better teams, which were older, and we felt like we could learn from our mistakes in those games and get better individually and as a team, and it worked. The same would apply in women's sports. Play against the older, more experienced teams, more times than not, those players will get better because most already have that competitive nature in them.

Growing up in sports and joining different leagues and teams, I never saw a male competing against all females. We did mix teams and have males and females on the same team against other males and females, which is completely different than what this state senator is arguing. She blatantly said the quiet part out loud, which pretty much was that it is okay for men to compete in women's sports because it will bring out more "competitiveness." I thought it was a joke at first when I heard about this, but this is how out of touch Democrat politicians are.

Ray responded to the insane claim made by Miranda, saying:

"As elite-level athletes, I would say we're very competitive, which is why this bill designates three categories: male, female, and co-ed. The idea is that everyone can participate in sport. If you want to compete against your man, absolutely. Let's do that in the co-ed section. That's the clarity and distinction is really important because when men are allowed access into women's sports and spaces, it's not women's sports and spaces anymore."

Here is the full exchange:

Following the exchange, Ray told Fox News Digital:

"I, in the moment, was trying to maintain professionalism; we're in a professional environment. I was just trying to be respectful and courteous. But inside, I was fuming. ... They usually tuck their tails and run when they realize that they have lost the plot a little bit. I'm just reminded that common sense is not so common here. And I'm not sure what statement she can put out that can paint her in a good light. It was not a logical argument in the slightest."

It's not only happening in Arizona, but also in other states run by Democrats, such as Pennsylvania:

This is disgraceful. The Democrats in Congress who even attempted to defend the whole "men in women's sports" fiasco, by not outright saying "men should not be allowed in women's sports or women's locker rooms," are just as complicit in this.
