Elon Musk Compares Trump to 'Tough' Teddy Roosevelt Following Assassination Attempt, Fully Endorses Him

Following the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, Elon Musk announced he is fully endorsing him for president.

Musk, who voted for President Biden in 2020, is backing Trump in 2024, and he has already donated to a Trump super PAC. It appears likely he could double down on that effort and do whatever it takes to help Trump win the election following this horrific incident in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday:

As RedState reported, Trump was speaking at a rally in Butler on Saturday, and then there were shots fired. One of the suspect's bullets hit Trump on the ear, and the former president dropped to the ground before the Secret Service agents rushed the stage and surrounded him.

In a later X post, Musk compared Trump's toughness to the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt:

Last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt.

They have tried taking Trump down every which way with lawfare. The fact that Trump got back up and pumped his fist to let everybody know he's OK and going to continue to fight goes to show why the left despises him. He does not and will not give up until we turn our country around from the current decline.

Musk's endorsement is significant because he will likely donate directly to Trump's campaign and could convince undecided voters who are fond of his Space X and Tesla companies to vote for Trump in November.

We pray that Trump has a speedy recovery.
