Democrat Representative Jasmine Crockett's (TX-30) woman of the people shtick has blown up after the release of the latest Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings, which reportedly show she's been living large on her campaign donors' dime, sparking some serious financial ethics concerns.
Filings with the FEC seemingly show Crockett's campaign spent tens of thousands of dollars in 2025 (so far) on luxury transportation and hotels, security, and more, while spending an incredible amount of her time far from her district in Texas.

A Fox News report broke down the expenses:
Crockett's filings show luxury hotel and transportation expenses in Martha's Vineyard, Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, among other major cities despite representing Texas' 30th Congressional District, which includes Dallas.
In total, Crockett's filings show her campaign spending $25,748.87 since January on high-end hotels and limousine services.
Here's a breakdown of those eye-opening expenses:
The hotel expenses include $4,175.01 at the Ritz-Carlton and $2,304.79 at The Luxury Collection. Other hotel expenses include $5,326.52 to the West Hollywood Edition in Los Angeles, $1,173.92 to the Times Square Edition in New York City, over $2,000 to the Cosmopolitan and Aria resort in Las Vegas and $2,703.14 to the Edgartown Inn and $3,160.93 at The Coco, both in Martha's Vineyard.
Here are just the limousine services listed:
- $2,728 on the Chicago-based Transportation 4 U Limo service
- $2,310 on DCA Car LLC, car and limousine service
- $1,254 to Bay Area Limousine
And then there's this on what the Democrat lawmaker spent on her own security, as our sister site Townhall.com noted.
The lawmaker's campaign also doled out $50,000 on security expenses.

The amount of money spent on security is rich, given she joined the choir of lefties calling to defund the police, and recently said the quiet part out loud about what law enforcement does, as my RedState colleague Eli Shepherd reported.

Let that sink in. A sitting member of Congress actually believes cops are glorified janitors, here to sweep up the bloody mess after criminals have wrecked your life, not stop the crime in the first place.
This is what happens when Democrats spend years demonizing police. They've so thoroughly warped their worldview that "law enforcement" no longer means "enforcing the law." It means showing up with a clipboard after the fact, maybe filing a report, maybe solving the case, if you're lucky. Your protection? Not their concern.
Crockett's spending is just the latest example of her diva attitude, followed by reports earlier in 2025 about how badly she reportedly treats her staff, as we wrote.
Crockett isn't out for the people of Texas; she's out for herself, and the FEC filings are solid proof of that.
