Watch: Pres. Trump and the First Lady Have Fun, As Halloween 2025 Arrives at the White House

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump stepped out at the White House on Thursday to greet trick-or-treaters who dressed in all sorts of fun, creative costumes.

In a video posted by the White House, President Trump rocked one of those infamous red hats with the words "USA" across the top, and a suit. Meanwhile, the first lady looked festive in a fun khaki dress coat with orange and black accents.

Holding baskets of goodies, the kids of White House staffers, the Trump administration, military families, and more showed up to shake hands with Trump and score some giant candy bars. There were kittens, princesses, ghosts, superheroes, and skeletons--and even Tinkerbell. There were also some cute pumpkins, and some Ghostbusters, along with cutest little green dragon we've ever seen.

Trump just shook his head and laughed. It was something.

As the kids waited in line, musicians stood on the steps of the White House, playing fun, Halloween-themed music and scary tunes from popular horror movies.

Ahead of the 2025 edition of the annual event, the White House had some fun at the expense of the Democrats, posting a video using footage from Halloween 2017 at the White House, as they trolled Democratic Representative Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) with sombreros memes in the clip.

Trick-or-Treats has definitely been in the air at the White House after the official account on X posted a meme on Wednesday, showing possible Halloween costumes for Jeffries and Schumer amid the ongoing Schumer Shutdown--now in its 30th day.
