Hilarious: Theater Kid, CA Sen. Alex Padilla Inadvertently Makes an Ad for Mass Repatriations

Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) inadvertently made an advertisement for mass repatriations, and we are all here for the Democrat party's latest theater kid antics that do the opposite of what he planned.

In a video posted by our sister site Townhall.com on X, the senator/drama queen posted a video of him walking around Los Angeles' Boyle Heights, outside of downtown LA, claiming it showed the empty roads and streets, which it does not. But we will get back to that in a minute.

"LOL: Democrat Senator Alex Padilla made a video about how Los Angeles' streets are EMPTY now that President Trump's mass deportations are underway," the Townhall post read. "He just inadvertently made an ad FOR mass deportations!"

Padilla claimed in the video that since President Trump's administration began to crack down on illegal criminal immigration in the area, there has been a "reduction of foot traffic, pedestrian activity in the community." He went on to explain that businesses have also seen a drop in customers, and he claimed it was because their clientele were "afraid to come out and eat."

As a California resident, I do not know where to start with this video. We could start with the fact that even as he claimed the place is empty, we can see tons of cars driving up and down all the streets where he filmed his video.

Second, there's the fact that we aren't seeing a single homeless person on the streets in any of the videos. Or any cars stuck in wall-to-wall traffic filling up the roadways.

This video by Padilla  is actually promoting mass deportations. As a longtime resident of the Golden State, these are only the kinds of things I could dream about seeing here. He doesn't even realize that the shots used in his video show beautiful, clean streets void of any homeless encampments or vagrants, who are all drugged out. The homeless problem in the state goes well beyond a lack of leadership at the local level from Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and all the way up to Sacramento, where the Democrat-run state and Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom have refused to fix the problem and only made it worse.

And lastly, there's the part where he called on people to "protest with their wallet" and come out and support "immigrant-owned businesses in the community." Notice how he did not say "illegal immigrant" owned business?

And this, once again, gets to the heart of the matter: we want immigrants to come to the country and thrive, but we don't want them to do it illegally. And yes, we agree, people should come out and support immigrant-owned businesses because they are doing it the right way--something we should all support. And man, I can't recall the last time I didn't have to wait to get a seat in an eating establishment in Los Angeles? Once again, this image Padilla showed us is really great!

My RedState colleague Jennifer Van Laar recently wrote about Newsom, who has destroyed CA, allowing crime to run rampant and the homeless to take over parts of the state's great cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles:

Newsom, who famously proclaimed in 2008 as Mayor of San Francisco that he had a 10-year plan to end homelessness in the city, now presides over the state where half of the nation's homeless live. He's repeatedly said that "fixing" homelessness is his number one goal, yet the problem is increasing by every metric: number of people on the streets, deaths of homeless people, violent crimes committed by the homeless, fires started by the homeless, et cetera, et cetera. And, the state can't account for $24 billion in homeless funding.

RedState also reported recently on actions by President Trump, who signed the "ENDING CRIME AND DISORDER ON AMERICA'S STREETS" Executive Order, which aims to restore "public order" to cities and remove homeless individuals from the streets by enforcing no urban camping, urban squatting, and loitering, among others.

One part that stood out about the EO was how it seeks to end the failed "housing first" policies of numerous blue states like California, New York, Oregon, Washington, etc. that "deprioritize accountability" and fails to "promote treatment, recovery, and self-sufficiency; increasing competition among grantees through broadening the applicant pool; and holding grantees to higher standards of effectiveness in reducing homelessness and increasing public safety."

So, keep up the good work, Trump administration!
